An odd dream I had one night about Half Life 3...

A couple of weeks ago, I remember having a dream where I was on the Steam page for Half Life 3 which was still in development, but had a free demo to go along with it. I remember playing it and it felt just like Half Life 2, but with a more enhanced crowbar that looked more like the kinds with the smaller pry grips on the front. It also took place in the Arctic with a snowy field that had Combine technology all around it. There was also one point where I had to take down a Hunter Chopper with a .50 Cal turret near a sinking wooden boat similar to the ones you see floating around in the Water Hazard chapter of HL2. But the one part I remember the most clearly was that it was going to be released on March 21, 2021. I wonder if it will be actually released on that specific date or very close to it. It may even be officially be canceled on that date too. Who knows? Only time will tell what occurs on that date. The odd thing about this dream was that I didn't even think about Half Life 2 the night before I went to bed.

I think March 2021 is a tad optimistic...

;3 On the subject of weird gaming dreams, a while ago I had a dream about what was obviously a episode Freeman's Mind taking place the game Slender: The Arrival. I obviously don't remember all the dialogue but he did crack wise about working with children, noting that he kept making every cliche dumb choice from horror movies and complaining about his shitty camera.

When close friends speak ill of close friends

they pass their abuse from ear to ear

in dying whispers -

even now, when prayers are no longer prayed.

What sounds like violent coughing

turns out to be laughter.

Another odd part of that dream was that I was also playing an early access zombie survival game with nothing really original about it at first, until there was a part where you could move the physics objects around like in HL2. There was even a part where you could roll larger objects on the ground such as a trash can and use it for barricades. Maybe someday one of those survival games could utilize that mechanic.

That Slender dream sounds pretty hilarious! Too bad Ross didn't show any of those Slender games in his Freeman's Mind Across The Universe video to see how he'd react, but then again he wanted to show off Freeman in more notable and famous FPS games. It also would've been funny to see how Freeman would react in SCP Containment Breach.
