Almost everyone (atleast a lot of the users) here know about the revered J.C.
He has the highest rep count out of all of the users here (as far as I know), is a candidate for president of the Accursed Forums, and makes epic speeches.
Do you all think that J.C., with his immense popularity and epic, awe-inspiring speeches, should be made a moderator?
I honestly think he should.

I'm not gonna vote on this, simply because we have enough moderators here.

I think a more important feature than being a skilled speaker would be ability to relate and peacekeeping demeanor.

alphabetagamma wrote: Anybody actually care about what J.C. wants? Yeah, has anyone even asked him. Also, we have a reasonable amount of mods and while I wouldn't mind him being a mod, I don't think we need any more. A moderator moderates, we don't need a ton of them.

zakalak wrote: Epsilon wrote: Who said we need to take moderators in moderation? *Puts on shades* ...Yeah? No... That was entirely the point of it... Pretty much every spawn of the CSI meme is bad. The point is: the worse it is, the better it is. In order to stop an imminent thread derail: Nothing wrong with having a bunch of mods. The more we have, the more moderation going on, ergo the less strain on mods as a whole.

I answered no to that question.

It's up to Ross in the end who he chooses as mods. At the moment, I think we have plenty of active mods here. I am certainly doing my part.

Thoroughly, carefully, and soundly played, fellow gentleman. Alyxx wrote: It's up to Ross in the end who he chooses as mods. At the moment, I think we have plenty of active mods here. I am certainly doing my part. EDIT: I just wanted everyone's opinions; he seems to be quite popular here.

If he were to become a mod, I would have no objections.

I wouldn't mind JC as a mod either, since he already seems very good at backseat modding.

Whoa... I think I'll start by listing my reactions when I saw this thread: - Incredulity - Happiness - Embarrassment - Panic - Pure and undiluted cosmic horror - Unnatural calmness Seriously now, I really appreciate the though . But I'd like to keep things in perspective. The reason I hang around here is because I enjoy Ross' work and I like to interact with the people that use these forums. I believe in being polite, trying to be helpful and keeping things interesting, if at all possible. So, if Ross ever need me to be a mod, that would be cool. And if not, that's fine too. I swear I will not, in any way, try to conjure an impossibly ancient evil demigod to lay waste on this Earth. Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn

J.C., I mainly think you should be a mod because of how conducive your posts are; you don't derail threads like *cough, cough* the Bronies do, and you seem mature/responsible enough to be a mod, unlike a lot of us. Your sense of humor is also unique.. a lot of forum users (not explicitly AF; AF actually does it less than others.) just post "UMAD, UJELLY, QQ/CRY SOME MOAR", but you're actually original.

Anyways I don't care, J.C.'s is a nice guy. It doesn't really matter to me.
