I grew up on the old Atari so the simplified rainbow always gives me a nice nostalgic feeling. Plus, I don't like "busy" backgrounds so I'm loving this simple, unobtrusive background.

I think I have ~50 similar pony wallpapers that change every 20 minutes automatically, just because I haven't found any particular background that has caught my eye. Currently this one. - Spoiler: show
Also I don't need to use my desktop all that often anyway, I get what I need access to mostly via the nets.. hence being fairly minimalistic.
