Hell, I have an old transistor radio that looks about to be from the eighties or late seventies, and it works beautifully; and yet still made in China (and the mark was stamped too!). I was rather amazed. I mean, the Samsung DVD player downstairs wasn't even a year old when it began doing screwy things. It seems barely fine now still, but by god, the thing sometimes sounds like it already has one foot in the grave. If only people would bring all this industry back to their own countries instead of relying on communist slave-labor, that would definitely help the jobs problem we've got now. But noooo, that makes too much sense!
