Yes, I know there's probably 14 days between when a video gets uploaded and it actually comes out but please... we have waited 6 months or something between the episodes earlier and now you are complaining about just a couple of weeks?

Basically, if you want to complain, please do so in one topic instead of constantly bringing it up in every other thread.

Time to see how many people agree with you. I just dislike the massive amount of threads being made with pure Machinma.com hate inside.

I can understand the reason for it, but what I dislike is the amount.

All you said is completely true.

You know, I want to contribute something. Wanna know a trick to not get so upset about the delay between the time Ross finishes an episode and when it's released in Machinima? Easy, don't watch the progress bar. It works for me at least :)

I understand machinima's reason for delaying the videos but still, when I see this (and I realize that these types of videos aren't as common as people say they are) I can't held but get mad. I couldn't care less about the [hyperbole]ten millionth[/hyperbole] Call of Duty kill Montage. But I suppose someone else must. You can't please everyone.

If you don't like it, don't watch it. And besides, by including those videos, Machinima are attracting an audience that may not have seen Freeman's Mind otherwise, so I consider it a good thing that they offer something for everyone. The quality might not be up there with Freeman's Mind but it definitely attracts gamers from pretty much everywhere since Call of Duty is very popular apparently.

I never really rage when Machinima is on slomo. I buy cheap DVDs every now and then that got multiple times more minutes of entertainment than a FM episode. Then I got games that can eat up a lot of free time, like Thief, STALKER and Deus Ex. It is however perfectly valid out of pure principle to criticize the biased queue, content should not be preferred in my opinion, it should get its place in line and stay there.

Yes, you can. And if it's uploaded, eventually you will.

Seriously, I think people are acting like brats about this.

me personally i'd hate if they came out everyday. the anticipation, the suspense just makes it all that much better. and all the delay probably gives ross a good buffer zone to think of better episodes. also the next few chapters in HL will be full of shit ross can react to. knowing him he'll have a few choice things to say about the surgical unit. lol

Yes, that's a very good point.

I've never really cared. I started watching when people were wanting Ross to release episode 30 around last year's Christmas Day. So it was a Win Win for me. xD I bet Ross is doing his best. And I have a question. . .or two. First, does Ross put in an invincibility cheat in the console or something? Because he's taken a lot of damage and I've seen him revive himself only once. Second, how does the first and original Half Life end?

You can discuss the cheats used in FM here: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=1472
And to find out how HL1 ends, I suggest playing it as I don't want to spoil it for you, but you could go on YouTube and search for it if you absolutely want.

I agree with you on the fact that we have to many threads being made these days. There really is no need to start a new one every time a new episode is not released fast enough after being uploaded. There are lots of perfectly good ones already made that can be used.

So if I ever feel the urge to vent some steam about those soul sucking-darkness spreading-civilization ending-CoD loving abominations that work over at Machinima.com, I promise to do so on one of the old threads (in fact, maybe you could merge all the "waiting for episode X..." threads in just one).

I also believe that just complaining is very unimaginative: quote a poem and change some of the words, draw something funny, post an ASCII image... You can vent some of your frustration and still post something worthwhile reading.

I'm not really that impatient. That's the reason for all the ones :|
It's like waiting in line, sometimes you just hate the people in front of you even though they were there first.

No denying that.

They almost did for a while. Before Ross changed his contract with machinima they pressured him pretty hard, and the quality dropped for a while.

Yes, but you will never get to the goal faster if you shout at them. They'll just think you're a noisy douche.

I've never yelled at machinima. I only quietly stew in my immature rage towards them.

Well, this thread is for those who do yell...
But as I said, I can understand where the frustration stems from.
