Anyone playing this game? I've played it off and on since I bought it on Steam Sales for $5. Bloody brilliant co-op shooter, one of the best FPS games I've played in a long time.

Everything from the setting to the gunplay is so unique and satisfying that I always come back to this game after I've dropped it.

Obligatory.

The film grain is awful. The server browser is awful. And joining servers with custom content is awful because it takes awfully long to download even the smallest stuff.

But that are for the most part small issues. The game itself is a lot of fun.

Fun for a while, not as addicting for me as Team Fortress 2 or Left 4 Dead but, it's fun. Might reinstall it again sometime.

I play it occasionally with a few friends. It's always fun with a round or two.

It's been fun when I've played it, but it is annoying when it sometimes fails to correctly connect to a server and just leaves you on a black screen...

Killing Floor is fun on custom maps. Anyone here seen that one that's a remake of the first level of Doom II?

My buddy, Ozz, told me about this game and I must say, it is absolutely incredible. I love this game. If I don't feel like playing TF2 on one day, I'm probably in the mood for some Killing Floor.

I recently got my Support to LVL 3. And I must say, being able to carry the Hunting and Reg Shotgun at once is fucking awesome. I must ask, at LVL 6, is it possible to carry a Hunting Shotgun and the AA12?

Today was awesome. I joined up a game on Mountain Pass during round 3 and got my LAR and had at it. At the end of Round 5, the main leader on the team coughs up all his cash and says he has to go. So I get my M14 and LAR setup. In the beginning of both rounds 7 and 8, my dumbass partner dies. So I basically fended off 200+ zombies by myself, including a Fleshpound. He was charging and I just kept hitting his head until he died after gouging me once. For level three, Scrakes go down in three LAR headshots, so that much is pretty easy. And I've just about mastered my hip fire headshots. Gorefasts beware, you don't stand a Redneck's chance in MIT.

Absolutely awesome. I want new SHOTGUNSSSSS!!!!! Has anybody else noticed that Sharpshooter gets too few Rifles. I mean the Xbow is nice, but I feel like there should be a Rifle that puts out more damage than the LAR, which is like the cheapest gun in the game.

Between the default 9mm, the .50 hand cannons, the .44 magnums and the newly made Mark 23 handguns, Sharpshooters get a fair share of weapons, this is now including the Lever Action Rifle, the Crossbow and the M14 Ebr, as well as the newly added M99 single shot .50 BMG sniper rifle. (Jesus that thing is beautiful)
Not let's compare this with the... Commando!
Bullpup, Hungarian AK pistol (The AK) the FN SCAR, the FN FAL and the M4/M203 combo.
Or even better, the Firebug.
Flamethrower, MAC-10 and the fireguys cannon.

Only class that I can see that even remotely comes close is the Support Specialist.
Remington 870 pump action - (hunting shotgun) the double barrel shotgun, the AA-12, the Combat Shotgun (M1014) and the Keltec KSG-1 (The new shotgun added in the expansion)
Trust me, the Sharpshooter is spoilt for choice, Is it just me or are the Mark 23's sights awful? They're irritating to aim with imo.

This game is a lot of fun and definitely worth playing to those of you that haven't!

Wait a sec....a summer update? Does that mean what I think it means? Does that mean we will see a sale come soon?

I love the new guns. But I HATE the new specimen models. You can't tell if you headshot a Gorefast because their heads DON'T COME OFF! The Robot Husk is IMPOSSIBLE to headshot because its head is in front of its chest and it's only two inches wide.

The new shotgun... Oh my god. I have never been happier. That thing fucking tanks. The pump animation is a little annoying, but the power is awesome and the bullet spread on it is tighter than a pornstar's vagina. Plus, 12 round clip. I fucking destroy Scrakes now. Just pump off rounds from a distance and by the time he's charged and actually on top of me, I give hive one more meatshot to the chest and he's GONE.

Haven't gotten the chance to try out the new Rifle though. I want to...

I love the new sniper though it makes me rely on my teammates more. Also, am I the only one who thinks Circus Clots are harder to headshot than normal Clots?

Yeah, a lot of the new models are harder to headshot than the originals. The crawlers are the fucking worst, because they have TWO HEADS! And while I know which is the main head, it's impossible to locate the hitbox. The scruff on the bloat's neck makes him harder to headshot. After using the M99, Scrakes aren't much harder to headshot, but I don't have a fucking clue with FleshPounds.

Unless I'm mistaken, those are just for the summer period. I got it over the sale, so I've never even seen the normal models in game. Having nothing to compare them to, I actually like a lot of them.

Now if only I had a not shitty computer, I could actually play the Co-op in a... Co-op based game (no way!). It plays the game fairly well at the lowest settings, but I'm scared to actually Co-op it because I don't want to drop in the middle of a wave.
