Mass Effect 3 will only be available on EA's Origin...

Indeed. Whilst I own the previous two on Steam, if it's only on Origin then I guess I'll play it on Origin! :D

Then I don't think I will even consider Mass Effect 3. I mean, it looks pretty cool, but not worth bothering with Origin for. Only game I can think of I might consider is ME2 when it comes out.

Edit: ME2 as in Mirror's Edge 2. I spend so much time on the Mirror's Edge forums I forget people usually associate ME with Mass Effect.

But you don't care about the service as long as it's a good game.

I haven't played any of the games and never felt interested in them either.

Borderlands 2 and Tomb Raider for sure. I can't wait to see what Gearbox has in store for the Borderlands fans.

Hey, that rhymed...

And I love the look of Lara Croft in the upcoming TR game. She looks like I always imagined her, a strong female survivor. The gritty style really suits her.

That trailer did look really cool. Personally I have kind of shied away from the TR franchise for now, mainly because it seems like Lara is just in it for eye candy and I kind of have a hard time taking her serious with those breasts and that ass.

Trailer disappointed me actually. I wanted to see gameplay.

It was mostly a teaser, I think. Gameplay will probably come up in another trailer.

And I have to agree that Lara looks better than ever in the upcoming game, really capturing her spirit rather than trying to give fanservice in my opinion.

Though on the other hand, you have to admit that when playing a game where all you basically do is look at a person for the entire game, she better look attractive.

I don't think the games attempted to sexualize Lara as much as they just tried to create a really strong female action character who is supposed to be larger than life.

Big boobs + ass = strong. Well in that case I'll be weak forever.

Anyway, I don't really need someone attractive to look at, for that I can go watch porn, when I play games I want someone I can relate to or care for. And I feel that unrealistically attractive women are just a very cheap way to get more sales from guys thinking with their penis.
Which is why I actually really don't like the look of Elizabeth in Bioshock:Infinite. The corset looks so tight that she is gonna pass out and die of suffocation, the breasts look very....present and the face looks like a doll more than an actual human.

Edit: Also boobs + ass =/= instantly attractive

I'm glad to see a male who has that opinion, it's refreshing as most males I've met tend to only be attracted to woman with, well, Lara's figure.

But yeah, I think the Tomb Raider games were pretty solid up until Angel of Darkness, that one failed pretty hard. Legends and up were decent titles.

Guardian of Light I felt wasn't a true TR game. It felt like a very dumbed down game in comparison to the other games.

The other games, in particular TR 1 and 2 made you search for artifacts with a very rich history associated with them and felt like a little more than treasure hunts. In Guardian of Light, artifacts were basically dumbed down to become nothing more than powerups and it felt like just a stupid action game to me, lacking all of the stuff I liked Tomb Raider for.

Standout moments like in TR2 when you enter a sunken ship and you really feel the history associated with the level and the atmosphere in it are really lacking in Guardian of Light imo.

I gave up during the Italy level in TR2.

Well either way, I think the new Tomb Raider game looks really interesting and I can't wait to see if it gets released this year, hopefully on Steam.
