The summary from a German review of the film after it premiered there last weekend (from Google translate, so the language is a bit funny): Quote: But Iron Sky is not Snakes on the Plane in the universe, and the content is not limited to insider trashy fun as it was expected that most reports in recent months. The film has a surprisingly biting political subtext and commented again and again with bitter black humor, the current political situation and skillfully draws parallels between the former Nazi power structure to the current behavior of the U.S. government in the war on terror.This, for most of the film by executive, political commentary, which clearly fails in some places than he would ever appear in a mainstream film, Iron Sky is so clearly in the succession of the early exploitation films of the 1960s and 1970s.
Whether Iron Sky is in line with expectations, is a question that needs answering any audience for itself. Has been worth the tremendous effort of the makers but in any case.

I don't know. I don't enjoy being fed politics in films. That and the trailer wasn't really funny at all for a comedy.
