I do think society has norms and if you don't follow them then you're abnormal. It's not a bad thing in my opinion. Definently not. But it's there.

But if most of everyone is abnormal, then the guys who made those norms are abnormal for being normal...so we're all weird. it really depends on your status quo. it's normal for a lawyer to be argumentative and money driven, while it's abnormal for a sketch artist to be so. thereby we're all normal by our respective groups, but weird in the eyes of others. Makes sense?
