It's funny because it's true. The Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II "Warthog" was designed after its primary conventional weapon. Additonally, it has such large bullets and such a high rate of fire, concerns were raise that the recoil the gun generated might actually cause a stall due to loss of airspeed during continuous bursts of fire.
