Can't change avatar, or any profile information. Every time I try it leads to a white screen and refreshing does nothing nor changes anything when returning to the page.

I can confirm that I can not change my password from the randomly generated email one. Obviously I can log in, but having a password I can't remember is not super convenient.

I don't think it's the code. If it was, profile changing NEVER would have worked. (Unless the code has recently been changed).

I assume it's the server's problems. They like to malfunction sometimes and do all weird and crazy snot.

It's actually looking like it might be a busted script that's causing this. What do you mean by 'profile changing'? Do you mean like logging in/out? (that would be an entirely different set of code)

Of course, you can never be too sure of what the person on the other (metaphorical) end of the keyboard wants to say, but I think it is "making changes to profile". Also, wouldn`t bug in the set of code regarding profile changing just simply... disable logging in to site altogether?

It's somewhere in the script that moves the changes made on the page to the server, not in the script that reads from the server. Completely different sections and types of code.

Yeah, I can also confirm that editing a profile just leads to a white screen. Can't change and submit any info. Just bumping in case that it may have been forgotten.

From my experience, what I can tell is a fucked up installation of phpbb, or a messed up attempt to update it, or the FTP server at one point ate some important php tables/pages.

 

Probably would need a clean install, should be okay with the forum Mysql database as long as the sql tables are left intact.

We are working on a solution, no word on when it will be fixed yet though.
