You know what's really irksome? When the fucking people who interview you are irresponsible, tardy and unprofessional as hell. Completely ruins the image of the place I applied for.

Then they don't hire you, usually stating similar reasons.

You know what really upsets me.....Getting Fired and not being told the reason by your Managers......

If Human Resources doesnt help I am going to the Labour Relations Board with it and probably claiming something that says it was unjustified

So, yeah. Not too good status on my end either. I have just graduated, but i have looked for work for months in IT field- one field where you think there are spots, right? nope. I mean there are job offers, yes, but i get lucky if im even called to interview (i guess there are just too many IT specialists here). Reason is quite usual & loop-creating for young person: lack of required experience. And that even despite the fact that country will pay half the paycheck (or even full, i dont know) for employer for young person hired.

so, right now i have 2 options, both bad:

1. go to work in non-IT job. Doesnt seem that bad, right? well, wrong. I dont know what it is with employers around here, but if IT person spends even a bit on non-IT job after graduation, its pretty damn hard finding IT job after that. On other hand i'd make money & would likely get job real quick if i would want to, but options for jobs i'd get quickly are really, really shitty, as likliest spot i would get work is local wood industry. Now, i have worked there before and while job itself wasnt that bad, i get some weird rash inside thighs (making movement very damn painful) when having prolonged exposure to sawdust, plus boss was, well, look at my signature for that word. So not hard to see why i dont want to choose that option

2. Stay unemployed while looking for job. I really dislike this option as well. Still, it allows for faster deployment for interviews & such, but even living in my childhood home, it cant last for very long due to money reasons, plus i feel like rat while doing so. Oh and my brothers & sisters are having a fit.

Still, in theory at least it lets me focus on job hunting and not end up in situation where i am 50 & still working in wood industry as simple worker without days worth of non-internship IT experience. Sucks for everyone involved more and i hate it, but i see it as battle between short term & long term. I prefer long term.

1. The rash is likely caused by sweat buildup. (this is the most common cause of the sort of rash you're describing)

2. There is a major overabundance of IT workers right now, part of why I'm looking into Accounting. (high-paying, simple number systems, similar mental requirements as IT)

Don't insult me. I have trained professionals to do that.
