No, because they're all 2D photographs. Everything in the image there is in 3D (except for the trees in the background). Including the text which has a very slight thickness to it.

Scruffy the Dog Man, the muscular superhero version of Scruffy the MS Paint Dog, is the greatest fighter to ever live!!

 

I'm assuming pixel art's allowed, although I don't see why it wouldn't be. Had some help correcting anatomy mistakes by one of my friends.

Meanwhile, I have never made something that looks so freaking badass. XD Like, gosh damn, this is cool. After watching Telltale's Minecraft: Story Mode, I can't get over the main enemy of the game. It's the coolest thing ever!! I don't usually draw fan-art, but this turned out nice.

I've tried, but unfortunately my instinct when illustrating is to give everything a thousand beady eyes and miscellaneous teeth. I think I'm part Shoggoth, or something...
