So, @Im_CIA is gaming still dead?

Also, my name's in the video, yay!

Yes absolutely. To me, and I suffer from solipsism.

I have my new 5700 XT... Getting 60 FPS minimum on maxed out settings in all games, despite being heavily undervolted/power starved. The fan has not ramped up over inaudible levels outside of stress tests or benchmarks. (regular gaming doesn't stress it that much, even when it's at 100% usage)

Don't insult me. I have trained professionals to do that.

That's right, you can now gamble with real money in a virtual casino. And I thought gambling with lootboxes was bad enough.

Gambling with real money in virtual casinos has been around for decades... It's just included in GTA now.

Yeah, lootboxes, I know. However, this is an actual casino.  Something that would make this game Adult's Only.

Well, virtual casinos exist as well, the issue is gambling law actually applies to those, and kiddos can access GTA V.

They really shouldn't be though. Especially now that they can literally gamble in a casino that isn't regulated at all. Not to mention those with actual gambling addictions who play video games to get away from gambling.

Never said it wasn't fucked up. I'm honestly just amazed that big players in the industry are still pushing for shit like this despite the mountains of backlash for lesser forms of it.

While the whole casino thing is pretty bad, in a weird way I find it to be better than surprise mechanics. At least it's something everyone knows is bad and it fits into adult game themed around crime.

Not that it excuses being able to purchase currency with real money, you can then gamble. But, I'll take it over gambling in game 3+ that pretends it's not addictive.

And that's not even the worst of what CEOs actually have to say about their business.
