I have played the Demo: Thespian Feast. I played a tank class with gratsword and tower-shield, and I found the dance of neutral game needed to get in the right positin and time for a devastating slash to be very engaging, especially against the clone of yours that spawns when you die.

This game reminded me a lot of Dead Space, and not just because it apes the aesthetic: the designers love to concoct rooms that put you in a tight spot or optimally showcase an enemy, but in terms of believability they fail completely: the architecture and interior design is on par with Quake, and the music is forgettable. In the end I'd give it a hazy: there are good things here, very good even, but they're stuck in a mediocre mold.

I have played through this one once, took me awhile to get into but i consider it an okay-ish souls like. One problem it has is that you have a decision early on where to go and if you go i think bottom choice you will end up in an area i found much harder at that point over the top one. So much in fact i made a new char and tried the other route and found it easier which may have been because the boss in the difficult area was a 2v1 fight. And you will be able to go to the other area you didnt choose later on. Overall clunky and frustrating at points but i did have a bit of fun with it.

I really liked the atmosphere. A very competent Soulslike, earsily better than the Surge. However, it kept messing with my internet connection so I had to stop playing it.
