Why is it always childless atheists who reeee the hardest about "climate change"?

They have less incentive than any other demographic to care about an apocalyptic event. Yet, Science™ is used to push political agendas whilst citing Science™ as "the very smart" reason they're acting like despots. They're usually also nihilists who say everything will come to an end no matter how hard one tries, while they smell their own farts. On that note, I'm not even sure what atheists' incentive to live is, but I digress.

Anyways, atheists are always using words like "intelligent" "Science™" "IQ" "brain", and everything goes back to intelligence being sooooo valuable. Well, need they be reminded that the Earth is said to have been just a ball of lava with no life whatsoever, then it was a giant snowball and everything in between. There have been 5 or 6 mass extinctions, which means the Earth has killed off most of its lifeforms several times in the past. Do people actually believe that people can disobey forces that the Earth puts out? Maybe the Earth wanted silicon and plastic in garbage dumps everywhere so silicon based lifeforms can finally happen on Earth in 10s of millions of years. EARTH DOES NOT NEED HUMANS TO SURVIVE. The Earth will be fine and live on in all circumstances. Hell, even if we blew up the Earth with nukes, LIFE WILL FIND A WAY.

Also, I have only heard one other person besides me make the case that if climate change right now isn't part of some cycle the Earth has been on for a long time, then China and India need to be stopped form polluting the Earth BEFORE the USA stops. We probably have crossed a point of no return anyways (so we should stop taxing everyone to try and stop climate change), but if you wish to shutdown industry, then you must start with China and India, and when one thinks about this process it becomes apparent that there's a high incentive for these two countries, especially china, to lobby to cripple US industry. I want to be clear though, that China is NOT a threat to the US, unless the US does really, really stupid things; basically the US would have to self destruct itself for China to EVER overcome the US in anything, but that's another topic.

---TANGENT BEGIN---

While I'm on this topic, I thought I'd throw in some related, but non-climate change comments that might internet people here. The manufacturing from China is being relocated to Mexico now. And what doesn't fit inside the very limited geographic area of Mexico will be forced into the American southwest, and as per the effective implementation of open borders by DJT, mexicans will pouring into the US to work at these factories, since the boomer generation is addicted to cheap gains - they will never use more expensive labor, even if it's more skilled.

The relocation of this manufacturing is why the liberal politicians, in both parties, are making up ominous, fear mongering conspiracies about Russia implanting a mysterious program into a company (whose name I will not repeat here because this is fake news, and they're simply lying about it) that is disrupting supply chains in a "supply chain attack". The reason they picked this topic to lie about is because with the US pulling out its resources, like the military, war becomes something any empire must participate in to secure trade routes. In particular the chinese are hated by everyone, and no one is going to let them trade freely by sea. Most of the world's international supply chain steps are in the ocean by china. The main losers of all this are in silicon valley because they bet the farm on manufacturing in china, and while they bet the farm, they'll still recover because they hold all the keys and guard all the doors, so they'll slowly and derpingly relocate to mexico when finally forced. for now though, they're pursuing covert machinations of globalization via china through the socialist/communist democratic party.

1. Climate change is real and we need to reduce our carbon emissions.

2. Whiny losers, in this case some liberals who have no agency, enjoy Doom-mongering and clinging to authority(in this case science) in order to feel importance.

These things are mutually exclusive.

1. Carbon is one of the least dangerous pollutants we can produce. The problem is, places like China get away with releasing MUCH worse because everyone has tunnel vision focus on carbon.

2. Not mutually exclusive. Both can be true.

Don't insult me. I have trained professionals to do that.

This may be a shock to you but since Athiests don't delusion themselves with a afterlife or imaginary friends, they know that we have one material world to share and maybe trashing it isn't the best course of outcome?

We're also suffering from Climate Change now. expanding Droughts, the aquifers are drying up, wild fires, brisker winters, changing environs, this is happening within our lifetimes. Syria's whole situation could had been sparked by a bad drought, and look at the geo-socio-political ramifications of one measly civil war in Europe that sparked a Alt-Right surgence across the globe and all the domino effects thereof.

NYC has become hotter and drier in my own 25 years. If I expect to live another 50 more, why live in a sweltering, worsening hellhole? So even if you think Atheists are selfish dicks, they're going to experience a changing clime in their own lifetimes, thus ticking off the selfish-concern box.

But you won't care. Not with that loaded, biased' language. Maybe two other posters will give you a reach around and a few others to me but you're obviously not coming in here in good faith or with a open mind.

Antisocial people like what you describe are the most likely to insert themselves in a political or scientific discussion to attract attention and feel important. Their antics are ridicuolus and can be used to discredit the side they attached themselves to, so they get memed and distorted to look even worse.

You'll find people like these on all sides of any issues, like Alex Jones and other fat sweaty gun-toting bible-thumping boomers reeee-ing over any show of concern for the enviroement or the wellbeing of minorities and the working class.

I'll never understand why anyone with freedom of movement would want to stay in New York anyway .  The heat I can take, but the $40 cocktails served by asshole waiters near a trash pile in East Village..? Pass.

Remember the hole in the o-zone? Yeah, we stopped talking about that because when the news was going mainstream in the mid 90s it was revealed the the hole was directly over china. China doesn't even have to have influence in America - it's not like they're going to not sell things to the world, after all, economics demands that humans have unlimited wants and desires and will always pursue that. What really is happening is greedy businessmen in America don't want so much as a tiny disruption in a constant stream of profit (JIT economy), and so they're willing to relinquish any amount of someone else's money or political influence to achieve more profits, which gain them personal political influence and they can chase their vices at the same time.  Europe is simply mismanaged entirely right now, and has been for decades, though  there are greedy businessmen there as well.

Anyways, this is the ONLY reason China has influence in America. From an economic standpoint, when was eating dirt off of dirt in the 60s and even up to the 80s, and there is no way development can happen the way it did, resulting in the interaction with china we have now (with capital freaking flight coming out of china in the trillions) without heavy mismanagement of the overall economy in the USA. it's simply impossible.

Climate change won't happen in your lifetime and won't kill YOU, so why do you care? There's no need to go any further with this "debate" - you say it doesn't matter, and you don't have children so there's exactly zero incentive for you to care. Life will find a way no matter if you're viewed as a hero in the future or not.

Also, you comments about imaginary and afterlife clearly indicate that you haven't read the bible, and I'm sure your follow up comment will further prove this, as it always does in these conversations. *Cue bold, inflammatory comments about Christianity while not daring to be critical of Muslims or Jews*

YOU are not suffering from climate change right now. And I will not be looking into this, but I do know that the cycle of fires in California were always said to be climate change too, and they weren't. it was just an insurance scam. And with deglobalization happening, every one of these bug businessmen are going to try cashing in their insurance policies. The same cashing-in-of-insurance-policies could be seen in Minneapolis with those riots; it was very obviously retail stores trying to close their doors in a way to cut their loses the most due to the crushing pressure of Amazon's advancements in AI and marketing efficiency. COVID supposedly was leaving millions dead in the street, yet riots of thousands and thousands and the Pale Horse of Pestilence couldn't be bother to show up - BEEEEE ESSSSS!! The Plandemic is another case where we see globalists clutching the bag of gold around their neck and offering loans to businesses they're knowingly crushing in way to offer a sort of adhoc insurance policy, with interest. The point here is that the media will wrap up anything happening in the world in a wrapper that they'd like everyone to hear, and the latest thing everyone wants to hear is that they're Very Smart™ for listening to Science™. I have to tell you, it's quite amazing that all of a sudden the human behavior I've seen my whole life of humans being social creatures, especially women, has gone away and everyone is simply a Very Intelligent™ Scientist™, yet the final result is identical, save with people repeating words related to Intelligence™. No matter what you say is happening anywhere on the planet, YOU are not suffering from climate change.

I'm not sure what you're referring to above, however, if you're talking about preset-day Europe (I'm unaware of any war or the like), nearly entirely everything happening there, and *definitely* everything that is about to happen in Europe with a year or two, is the effect of deglobalization on a CONTINENT that is completely disconnected from political reality. They have a banking crisis, economic crisis, demographic crisis, cultural crisis, a refugee crisis (that they haven't even began planning when to send them back to their home countries when no longer need refuge), and they haven't even began to so much as apply a bandaid to anything, except Britain leaving the EU.

I haven't heard this, and to be honest, this sounds like a convenient excuse for deglobalization. As mentioned before, the Plandemic shutdown has caused people to move out of NYC, and climate change is just another wrapper the media would love to put on everything. Get it? Climate change, covid, "the racists", the "alt right", the oppression, the big bad christians! THEY'RE IN THE ETHER!!!!

This is what happens to people who've lost religion. They gain superstitions about things, as the human brain's attraction to unworldly things goes on without conscious thought. Having been aloof from my Christian roots for several years I have to say that I never anticipated superstitions in first world nations, yet here we are with animal worshipers, people who *believe* in karama, hinduism (rather than Greek Stoicism (take note of the propensity to bypass western culture)), i know people who think they're intellectuals even though they get high every single day (and have done so for years and years) and get drunk 4-7 day per week, the list goes on.

I suggest you read the Bible, especially if you're Atheist™, and, contrary to popular belief, this isn't to convert you to a Christian.

I'm sure there are people reading this reeeeeing about how I'm denying climate change, and I encourage you to re-read everything I've written, for reading comprehension purposes.

I would say this kind of thought isn't even tied to religion on its own. Atheists and theists alike can avoid wrapping themselves up in a persecution complex and ignoring the suffering of the material world, and atheists and theists alike are susceptible to it.

image.png.a0b6e5457a5e7304b3c8c14847055448.png

This breed of neoreaction is not based in christianity or islam or judaism or pastafarianism, it is a perversion not representative of any belief system save itself. It may have an easier time making inroads with one group versus another, but there is no belief system under which you can't rationalize shitty behavior. That doesn't mean they're all equal, just that the ideology you see from a lot of fashy grifters is not usually one of christianity or atheism itself, but a collection of beliefs resembling those things that have been bent and distorted to fit whatever narrative has been fed to them.

This is the reeeeeeing  I was referring to. Your opinions are going to be largely discarded from here on out, but I will say a few things that need saying.

I've noticed for about 10 years now usage of the term "bible thumping" is part of the cognitive dissonance that atheists regularly show, both the unintelligent ones as well as the ones who assume authority because they got a college degree. In this example, people who use the term "bible thumping" will simultaneously criticize, to no end, any devout CHRISTIAN (you don't DARE criticize Jews or Muslims because they would throw you in jail or murder you, which you DO deserve for attacking their faith, secularist)  for not following their faith.

A few other examples of cognitive dissonance by atheists is how they say there are no deities, however they think of themselves as gods, and increasingly I've heard them starting to speak about this aloud. Atheists reeeee about others expressing their faith, they they are far more DOGMATIC with their beliefs than ANY religion in the west right now. Atheism **IS** a religion, and if you disagree I would love for you to say why you think now - I already know the arguments, but it's better if everyone sees that you said it instead of me saying it, then you tip toeing around it, masquerading as an intellectual, as you people do. Before you even respond, I will say that atheists definitely, by and large, do not understand what it means for something to be a religion, and I've proven this without exception for years.

Another thing you intelligent, genius atheists don't understand is that while God isn't perceived in whichever arbitrary way you claim is proof (usually you people try to say that you would have superpowers if god existed, by saying things like "if god exists may he strike me down right now" - that's not how it would work. you don't get to tell God what to do and then he must comply), you will NEVER disprove God's existence, while His existence could be shown again. While we can observe a table and see that it's empty, one cannot observe all of space at once and know the entire state of everything to disprove God. Further, we already know there exist such things as unsolvable problems, you know through Science™ and Math™. then there are P, NP and NP hard problems to which we know answers exist, but we don't know how to find the answer. Then there are problems that are so computationally expensive that no super computer will ever solve them. So for you atheists to make these grandiose claims that you know anything outside of your observable reality is as absurd as you claim the faith in God is, and, from the perspective I just mentioned, your stance is MORE absurd, according to you.

Uhhh.. that's like checkmate. Right? Did I winned?

>your rant puts you in the top 10 though

OMG I'd better back down!!! I'm so scared that I'm not going to be recognized as an intellectual by someone who I don't know and whose opinion doesn't matter to me!! So well articulated, so strong, so brave.

What the hell is this? I don't care about people I don't know. That's psychological projection. You atheists want to be heroes and for everyone to see you as savior of the earth. Again, the earth doesn't need you or me or any human whatsoever, and, you should re-read the OP, since the Earth has gone from a ball of magma to an ice cube and everything in between, and saw fit to create an environment that enables the extinction of 99% of all current life 5 or 6 times already I can tell you that the earth will be just fine - no matter what *your* genius brain thinks.

I've always found debates over whether God exists to be kind of droll, personally. Because the thing is, it does not matter if God is real. The world is the same world with or without her, and even if you assert that she is responsible for nature, very little of human life is natural. There's no wage theft in a rain forest. Gorillas don't have a concept of gender identity. Every inequality, every means of oppression is a thing humans created, and it's a thing they can destroy. And if that's true, we don't need gods.

Then you are violating the second commandement on purpose. Either you're lying about bing a christian or you're too selfish to be a good one. See you in hell.

Typical atheist thinking where you attempt to feedback the rules so I self-defeat.

You used the term "bible thumping" then said "see you in hell". Not that you'd have fooled me otherwise, but you clearly don't mean what you say or suffer from a obvious case of cognitive dissonance by implying you're not a christian while simultaneously saying you believe in hell; two mutually exclusive things.

You've outed yourself as a typical atheist, spewing the same old fallacies, so I'm pretty much done with you at this point, as I probably have heard everything you'd have to say.

Let's have some fun though and hear you do your worst to Muslims or Jews. C'mon... I DARE you to criticize those people and their faith. If you don't want to, please explain.
