Things that you hate to see in games.

I know that, they're just vanity items really. Personally I just trade all my hats for weapons, I can't get enough weapons.

The weapons are great.....I personally love the Dead Ringer.

How on Earth are any of those weapons overpowered besides the Shortstop and Mad Milk (I can see why you'd complain about the latter two)?

...Unless you just mean infuriatingly annoying.

Do you feel blame? Are you mad? Uh, do you feel like wolf kabob Roth vantage? Gefrannis booj pooch boo jujube; bear-ramage. Jigiji geeji geeja geeble Google. Begep flagaggle vaggle veditch-waggle bagga?

Have to agree on the one save file ONLY. Really sucks when more than one person want to play the same game on the same console/PC.

Another thing is DLC being released on the same day as the game it's for, just seems totally greedy.

Poor, or fixed camera angles. I want to enjoy the game, and one of the biggest things I hate is having to fight the game itself just to be able to see, and if I can't see, its damn hard to enjoy. I don't mean darkness in horror games making it hard to see, that's fine, but if the camera gets in my way it's a real dealbreaker for me. I don't know why Resident Evil insisted on those horrible cameras for all those years.

When a game starts to get popular enough it screws its own lore over a tiny bit at first. Slowly, but surely, that tiny bit starts to add up.

And when when you have to escort a person who moves slower than a snail.

Bad controlls...

A game with longish levels that are incredibly repetitive and atempt to rely on subtle changes to make each one seem "Different" *CoughcoughForceunleashedIIcoughcough*

Games that have poor plot, bad characters, and try to use amazing graphics to make the game better.

On the flipside, games with N64 Graphics and a good plot and good characters and such are amazing.

Games that have one faction/race/whatever way overpowered, and all the noobs choose them. (E.g. Nercrons from DoW, USA from C&C Generals, etc.)

Funny. I always destroyed USA with the GLA. O_o

Vexing hit detection, communities that think skill is overpowered, tiny heads, and lack of teamwork (at least in pubs)... Yes, I'm looking at you, Team Fortress 2.

That there are fewer and fewer really good games than years ago.

I'll be glad when better games come out, and sacrifice graphics for mechanics and such. I hate looking at too many pretty things. I get distracted too easily.

Horror games like Dead Space, Dead Space is a testament to what not to do in a horror game.

Blood everywhere?

You have a good point. THe blood takes some of the scariness out of it. And the Flickery lights are annoying.

We are poster children for desensitization to horror. After Hamburglars post, denying that would be a dirty lie. :P

One thing I hate the most: when companies release a half-assed game with thousands of things missing, which they then release in hundreds of different DLC's for $10-20 USD each release to fill in the blanks with what should have fucking been there in the first place.

oh and also, premium accounts on subscription based MMO's. I'm looking and you, World of Warcraft. I'm already paying your asses 15 a month, like hell I'll ever pay MORE for your "premium" crap.

Although I don't much like WoW, I have to give Blizzard props for knowing how to addict gamers, I remember wasting countless hours on Diablo 2 and StarCraft.

What "premium" stuff?

Oh, like the $25 flying mount that you get for all of your characters? (it's the only one that's actually USEFUL in-game last I checked)

Don't insult me. I have trained professionals to do that.

No, there's these thing's you can get under premium services like being able to access guild chat from your iPhone and such. They're working on making it possible to group up with friends from other servers via RealID but they said they were thinking about making so only people with premium accounts can invite. there were like 6 topics on the forums of people bitching about that, all hit max page limit.

I haven't really dug much into it since such things don't interest me when dishing out extra cash for trivial matters is not something I personally approve of.

Edit: "there is also an additional monthly service fee for using WoW Remote. It just gives you access to the Auction House (and now guild chat) from any computer's web browser or any mobile device that has the app installed."

I should have maybe pointed out Lotr online as the bigger example...
