  1. It's episode 93 (season 5, episode 11) called "Homer the Vigilante". It's the one where a cat burglar steals a bunch of stuff, including Lisa's saxophone.

EDIT: the bomb riding is a daydreaming sequence.

  2. I sense much anger in you, young Bjossi. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.

    Let's see.

What appeals to you? Is it the overpricing? Or the lackluster performance? Or mayhaps the fact Apple products are dictated, closed platforms?

When my company started commercializing iPhones in my country, I got the chance to play extensively with them, and also with a Macbook for a while. This was in the midst of the MS Vista debacle, so you'll understand my point of comparison. Don't get me wrong: I've been in mayor trouble just because our friends over at Cupertino unilaterally decided to do something in one of their updates, or released a phone with such an obvious antenna design flaw any electrical engineering student could have spotted it, but still, for certain tasks (like mobile web browsing), they have very good products.

Apple's attitude is also very appealing, denying discoveries of security holes and then secretly patching them. Being idiotproof at the cost of freedom is one thing, but being so busy trying to be better than Microsoft that it is worth risking the security of the userbase for is a disgrace to put it mildly.

I think MS is guilty of most of that also. As I said. I have no special love for Apple, but I recognize that for simple tasks, some of their gadgets work quite well.

And by the way, Mac is not an acronym like PC. PC stands for personal computer, while MAC does not stand for anything in the same context. It is a short way of saying Macintosh, or with your writing; MACINTOSH. Well if we do want MAC to stand for something, I will throw Macs are confined out there.

Sorry about that, when I write MAC I'm always thinking of MAC addresses. Kind of an occupational hazard in my line of work, I guess

Now on topic: no FM today. Let's hope for tomorrow.

  3. That, or day 02.

I'm going to give you -rep for every post of yours I see simply because of your sig.

I've always wondered what was your problem with MACs. I've used PCs (with both Windows and Linux) and MACs, they both have good and bad things. I know Steve Jobs is probably an evil alien overlord trying to take over the world using his reality distortion field, but I can't deny the fact that his products have some appealing qualities.

Also, taking rep simply for liking MACs is not very nice.

  5. I had a really disturbing dream last night. I was in a house next to some kind of country club, maybe a golf course, when I heard a loud noise outside. I came out of the house just in time to see a big passenger plane fly directly over me heading south. It looked like it was about to crash. I kept thinking "pull up, come on, pull up", but the wings where in a really weird angle, almost a "V", and it was loosing altitude fast.

Then, the plane made a sharp U turn and headed straight back, and I became worried it might crash on top of me (also, now one of the engines was on fire and smoking heavily). Somehow, it kept flying long enough to pass above me a second time, and crash a few kilometers to the north. There was a big boom and mushroom cloud appeared in the sky.

I wanted to see if there where any news of the crash, so I headed home trough a very narrow and busy street, lined with tents on both sides. It was very difficult moving though the crowd, so I started levitating above their heads, allowing me to move faster.

And then I woke up. And stayed that way for a good half an hour, before falling asleep again.

It was very weird and very disturbing.

  6. This is awesome, Ross

However, I really don't think you need to do anything extra for the people that make donations... you've already given us dozens of excellent videos for free.

And with all due respect to the people that posted above me... I don't believe it's appropriate or fair to give donator tags. I'm sure we'll all contribute accordingly to our means. And if you don't have the economic means, you can always work on the subtitles, be a mod, sound or video editor, voice actor, etc.

  7. It's normal curiosity. Plus, he teased us with the "I moved to Poland" thing.

It really doesn't matter to me where he is, but it's fun to speculate. The thing that really bugs me is the fact that he still won't accept donations
