I'm lying in bed, listening to the sound of the waves... they're really loud, freaking Pacific Ocean... I mean, it's so soothing.

There's no wifi coverage in this apartment, so I had to MacGyver something using this android app from a Motorola Defy phone I bought a couple of months ago, that can generate a wifi hotspot (complete with wpa2 encryption, nice) and a SIMcard I borrowed from work, that has an unlimited data plan.

All in all, not a bad setup. Now I'm going to have breakfast with my family.

Banned because the Phantom Blot is one of Mickey Mouse's arch enemies, Mickey Mouse is a mouse, mouses and rats are basically the same thing, bats are often referred to as rats with wings, and Batman's costume tryes to emulate a bat (hence the name, "Batman").

PS. Kudos to Bill for identifying an SSTV transmission. I was about to fire up the old Matlab and start trying random demodulations until I would find something that looked like binary or such. I had completely forgotten about this.

PSS. Kudos to Nagisa for teaching me about setting the recording device to Stereo Mix. I really didn't know about that one.
