I just got back from my 3-day weekend trip. In total, I drove 1450 kilometers (900 miles). I also think I saw an UFO. I'll post about it in the Paranormal thread.

I'm just passing time. This afternoon is "bring your sons and daughters to work day", so effectively all productive activities will end in about an hour.

Also, as I believe the A.I. is about to go crazy and flood the building with a deadly neurotoxin, I'm getting the hell out of here in an hour, for my 6 hour drive to "Valle del Elqui".

I often like to do this exercise, and check the suggestions Google presents. As I understand, these are generated based on how often a particular search string is entered.

Interestingly enough, "why games are rated m" seems to be of great concern to the public , more so than the fact that they can be very addictive.

I found numerous news sources about this. I really think is a case of "wishful seeing", to give it a name, and it will turn out to be just a pile of rocks. It's exactly the same with, for instance, the famous face of mars: just a mountain that, under proper lighting conditions, viewing angle and photography, resembles a face.

Well, the paranormal topic is for the serious discussion of paranormal phenomena. Remember that paranormal != ghosts. From Wikipedia: "Paranormal is a general term (coined ca. 1915–1920) that designates experiences that lie outside "the range of normal experience or scientific explanation" or that indicates phenomena understood to be outside of science's current ability to explain or measure."

Perhaps merging this into that thread could be a good compromise?

I hate for TF2 servers to kick me because my ping is 255 milliseconds and the limit is set at 230. I live in the other side of the freaking world. What do you expect? Never had any issues playing in the servers that do accept me for who I am... or rather, what my ping time is
