  1. Double ban!

Banned for not putting a period at the end of your sentence.

Banned because YOU WANT PERIODS? YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE PERIODS!

Banned for never playing pong against me in your sig.

Banned because we will play Pong against each other soon 8-)

  2. And I actually fall under shameless optimist. I just seem incapable of being sad without some serious event triggering it. which usually is gone completely by the next day.

Wouldn't call that optimism. More like... resilience. I'm the same way: it's difficult for me to be down about something a long time. Also, while I usually "hope" for the best, I always plan for the worst. Guess you could call me a pessimistic optimist ;)

  3. Yes, Shotguns are the weapon of choice in most games and movies, but as the zombie survival guide says, the important thing when fighting zombies is to destroy the brain. At longer ranges, the pellets scatter and there is less range of skull penetration. The thing shotguns really excel at is stopping power. If you find yourself surrounded, you just take that baby out and make your exit by blowing zombies apart. However, the ammo is large and bulky... In the same volume, you could store a lot of rounds for a semi automatic rifle (a superior zombie killer, according to the guide).

  4. I don't know if anyone else heard about this, but J.K. Rowling Is launching a site called Pottermore in October. Since Monday they've been giving limited early membership access, and I just got one of the accounts :D

In case anyone is interested, I think the registration for today is still open. The answer to the secret question is 21.

  5. Wow, 2 on the same forum... First beefman62, now billyludwick. Nobody on the internet can take an obvious joke.

    It was a joke?

In all fairness, I'm on your side when it comes to misunderstood sense of humor. If I had a dollar for every time I've ended up with a room full of people, shocked because of some silly joke I made...

Back on topic now: I was watching the remake of Dawn of the Dead the other day, and it struck me how almost every single head shot the characters attempted, was accurate. I've only fired a gun once in my life, and turned out to be a pretty decent shooter, but I don't think in a high stress situation I would be able to hit anything other than the body.

  6. Banned because I don't know what Bug is.

Banned because I'm jelly that you live in Argentina and not Dixie Alley.

Chile, not Argentina (is to the left, facing the Pacific Ocean). And remember we get monster earthquakes every 15 to 20 years (we had an 8.8 magnitude earthquake a little over a year and a half ago), volcanoes like to go all gangsta on us and it takes 14 freaking hours by plane to get anywhere :wtf:

Also, J.C. HOW DARE YOU PLAY PONG AGAINST SOMEONE WHO'S NOT SNUGGLES!!!!!!!!!

Don't worry. There'll be more games. I will face Snuggles again ;)

  7. Very well. My intentions as President of the Farm, if elected, are to behave in exactly the same fashion as I do now: try to help if someone asks, respect the rules, be civil towards other users and have some fun, if at all possible. You don't need to be a mod, admin, or "President" to do that. Just be civil.

The only relevant framework of reference are Ross' rules, which are simple and appropriate: they are, in fact, nothing more than a broad statement of civility towards each other. If I see something I don't like, I can say so. So can any other user. It someone refuses to listen to reason and is rude or abusive on purpose, I can seek assistance of those charged with keeping things civil. So can anyone.

I have no false hopes or delusions of greatness (at least not in this forum). I entered this contest because I though it would be fun and because others nominated me, not because I thought I would gain anything from it. My drivers are, as always, enjoying Ross' work, helping in any way I can and interacting with other people.

That is all. Carry on. If you'd like, go check out the games Axeldeath so graciously donated to the community here viewtopic.php?p=85091#p85091
