  2. I wanted to ask here, for all you Dead Space players: which one is the best weapon?

I'm currently in chapter 4, and I still think the standard plasma cutter is the best choice (tried the flamethrower, line gun and pulse rifle). I've got damage an capacity maxed out and it works just fine against everything the game has thrown my way this far.

  3. Genocide: gen·o·cide [jen-uh-sahyd] –noun. The deliberate and systematic extermination of a national, racial, political, or cultural group.

In this case, the Harry Potter movies make me want to deliberate and systematically exterminate those who made them.

  4. Care to make a little wager on that, good sir?

    How much?

Oh, just a friendly accord amongst gentlemen, nothing major; perhaps a toast with a fine wine in favor of the winner. I've already made the appointment in my Google calendar for July 11, 2041. My email is blog.jc at google.com, should you need to contact me.

Let's reconvene in 30 years :ugeek:

  5. Oh, my god. The horror. There's no telling what I would do If I could stop time.

What would you do if a Hellgate suddenly appeared in your neighborhood.

(Any MOD's around to move this thread to the forum games section?)

  6. I was looking at the mars rover mission site. Spirit has been dead for over a year, but Opportunity is still rolling!

OPPORTUNITY UPDATE: Opportunity Nears Crater Rim - sols 2641-2647, June 29-July 5, 2011:

Opportunity is now within 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) of the first landfall on the rim of Endeavour crater, at a place called "Spirit Point."

With multi-sol planning for the 4th of July holiday weekend, the rover drove only once in the past week with a drive to the southeast on Sol 2645 (July 3, 2011), of over 162 meters (531 feet). On Sol 2642 (June 30, 2011), the Alpha Particle X-ray Spectrometer (APXS) performed another atmospheric argon measurement. On the next sol, a forward link ultra-high frequency (UHF) test was conducted with the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter.

As of Sol 2647 (July 5, 2011), solar array energy production was 421 watt-hours with an atmospheric opacity (Tau) of 1.03 and a solar array dust factor of 0.596.

Total odometry is 31,630.68 meters (31.63 kilometers, or 19.66 miles).

That is one badass machine 8-)

  8. You're still ignoring the fact that Europe simply doesn't have enough young people to sustain their current lifestyle. It's just a matter of time before it all collapses. Further expansion, or taking over the world in any fashion is not going to work when one third of your population is over 65 years old (look at these projections, keep in mind also they are from Eurostat) and your country's economy is rapidly going to hell.

I maintain my position that the EU as a whole will not be long lived.
