    Seriously though, I couldn't care less about hats.

    Okay....but thats an accessory, and if you want it just create an account, add it to you friends list, upgrade it to premium and finally select your original account to get the speks :P

    plus you get an extra account to do....stuff.

    You could idle witht the extra account I guess. Seriously though the only hats I would ever work for are the set hats. I've crafted all my extras (at least the worthless ones) into 3 refined in my quest to make a milkman. I have plans to get all fish kills with my +25 health. :twisted:

     

    Oh and the bounty hat and my "Dangeresque too?" glasses. Demopan ftw.

    i have tons of extra rep points, so to the next 4 people who comment after me gets a rep point.

     

    rules:

    1. your current rep has to be 25 or more, not being mean here but yea, i think you can understand :P

    2. each rep point will be given to abg, so posting will not earn you an additional rep point.

    3. try to make your post not funny and or uninteresting, i want to feel like i gave the point to somebody who's the greatest.

     

    i realize rep points doesn't matter to some folks, but it gives users the impression that s/he's savvy :) a person with low rep can give the wrong impression to forum users. that's why i'm offering some.

     

    yea, i'm being pretty cavalier with my points, i'll most likely do this again, so if you miss out don't worry, you'll get another chance.

    Accursed Farms for Competitive TF2

    I'm willing to play a few games and maybe a tournament, but after that I'm not so sure. I was playing on a Valve server when lo and behold who should join but some guy I've never heard of? http://steamcommunity.com/id/themedik

    He's apparently competitive but I wasn't really impressed. Him and three other (also competitive) friends all went on the same team and got some high scores. Not a huge feat with three others on a server almost devoted to new players.

     

    All in all competitive play feels like it would ruin TF2 for me. People on public servers hate you, they either think you don't (or you actually don't which would seem likely) have a life and playing casually for fun would be more difficult. It reminds me of the Pony Fortress server. I would play on it and have fun every so often, but once I learned there was a leader board I started checking. I eventually played my way up to 17th but I couldn't keep up with the top players. I wouldn't play just for fun with pointless loadouts and even when I was super srs bsnss I wouldn't have fun. I'm not going to let that happen to TF2 as a whole.

    Tge way things look, I think we're going to have to have some tryouts for diffrent positions. Nobody but ABG and Eedobaba have signed up for 6v6 soldier, so here's how I see the teams:

     

    Scouts: Rarity*/Me/Epsilon

    Demo: Eedobaba/ Rarity*

    Soldiers:ABG/Eedobaba

    Medic: Me/Eedobaba/Luis*

     

    *Luis and Rarity aren't definites.

     

    For a highlander team:

    Scout:Me

    Soldier:

    Pyro:

    Demo:Eedobaba

    Heavy: ABG

    Engineer:

    Medic:Rarity (Because she [i'm afraid this Rarity's male. :P] has a lot of experience pocketing ABG)

    Sniper:Epsilon

    Spy: Luis

     

    This, however is EXTREMELY preliminary.

    I'd much rather play highlander than 6v6. Team looks promising so far. I just hope we can find a few more interested players. If Michael Archer ever sees this (which I doubt he will :() He has over 2000 hours of TF2 so he might be good at something. :lol:

    lol lately your good times involve strange names and weird weapon loadouts XD
    Those are the most fun!

     

    Fun set #1: Scout. Force-a-Nature (for additional mobility), Bonk (For fun), Atomizer (Extreme mobility). Run by the enemy spawn and pick up a few morons. Simply run away with your entourage of angry distracted noobs.

     

    Fun set #2: Demoman. Sticky Jumper (Duh, mobility), Ali Baba's Wee Booties (Health), Persian Persuader (Health from ammo). Fly around the map killing snipers if you want or just plain annoying people and flying away.

     

    Fun set #3: Demopan. Frying Pan, Chargin' Targe, Dangeresque, Too?, Bounty Hat, Grenade Launcher (Use Pan over G.Launcher). Play like you normally would, advertise a Stout Shako for 2 refined using "bind say "STOUT SHAKO FOR TWO REFINED" or change your name, or both!

     

    Fun set #4: Soldier. Rocket Jumper, Whatever you want as a secondary weapon (I use the Righteous Bison 'cause it's got low falloff), Equalizer. The Rocket Jumper, at least now, lets you survive the Equalizer taunt with nothing but fall damage. Go to the enemy spawn and spam at the gates in hopes for a random kill, later taunt snipers and at other good opportunities when the enemy aren't looking. Spam your secondary at medium distances and get as far away as possible before you take any fire. (It'll be high at 100% damage increase)

     

    Final note: For all these sets, spam voice commands. Preferably, as to not annoy your team mates too much, ones that don't also create text messages. e.g. Go left, go go go, Medic, etc. Stick to classics such as "Need a dispenser" and a good C+3 (Cheers) and C+5 (Positive) can make you an extreme annoyance to the enemy team as you run off laughing.
