The reason this result could be so important is, if it holds up to criticism, that the previously percieved light barrier could be breakable or simply non-exsistant for that matter.Apparently, it seems that if a neutrino is to go faster than the speed of light, It has to always be faster than the speed of light. It can't accelerate through the "light barrier." So, although something can go faster than light, the idea of a physical speed limit still exists as according to this, we wouldn't be able to go faster than light. -
I'm not sure how harnessing dark energy is the same as FTL travel. Except they're both cool.I hope this somehow leads to awesome future stuff. We've been waiting way too long for that stuff. Antigravity, light speed space rockets, hoverboards... -

The actually populated parts of Canada are much warmer than most people seem to think. Vancouver is a prime example. The record low here is a "measly" -17.8 °C and we're actually the warmest city to ever host the winter olympics.-25?
Here in Atlanta, it's a shock to see a bit of snow, let alone anything like that.

That's a common misunderstanding, I am currently in Toronto, Canada (Long stroy short: I'm avoiding military plus family...
) and this city is warmer then Kiev. -
Ugh, I don't think I could take temperatures that low. It's times like these I'm glad I live in one of the few places in Canada that doesn't get a brutal winter.No worries, I just can't wait until January. I just love to see when outside is 25 below zero! -

I expect you to have a reason for complaining with examples to back you up. You won't be "publicly humiliat[ing]" someone by using an off-topic post as an example to prove a point.Do you expect me to sit there looking through peoples posts and publicly humiliate them? I think it's a kindness to sit back and say "look guys, I'm new and I'm really no very comfortable and here's why" and address it to the members as a whole instead of complaining about individual users like I've got something against them. -

To state my opinion again: I'll post whatever I damn well please as long as it has a reasonable relevance to the topic.
Where are threads being "infected" with ponies and going off topic? I'm sick of people saying this and not giving any examples. Any threads that did get derailed were derailed by non-bronies crying about pony response images. Even before I never got how there was any "pony spam", why are images suddenly spam if there's ponies in them?

It's not bad when you have nothing else to do. The problem isn't time or patience for me, it's coming up with anything original and knowing if it actually looks decent. I'm no artist though. I have no idea how people like Jek Jek Tar do it, it scares me sometimes... oh well, I'm hoping I beat her at quantum physics.that sounds like a lot of work. Including finding the font and the greatly time consuming process searching for and extracting Rainbow Dash. I went through all but one episode to find that particular image.in less than two hours of constantly interrupted work
And as I said, I'm hardly finished.
