Knowing the enemy is probably the most important skill in TF2. Which is why I get upset when disguised spies (almost always disguised as an enemy spy, not predictable at ALL) walk up to the enemy looking right at them. They of course get spy checked and die maybe after stabbing a scoped sniper, repeat. Act like the class you're pretending to be you god awful spies!

If we can disable the mods than I don't have a problem with them. They might be interesting for a bit, more so with the newer players, but to the more active/srs bizness players they can get really annoying.

I wonder if Ross could make another steam account (that is if he already has one) and get TF2 f2p. That way he could play a game or two with us, we could be all act like school girls but we wouldn't be able to stalk him any more than we already do!

Spawn camping doesn't really work that well in tf2. Not when you can simply run 5 feet back to the re-supply locker and get full health/ammo but the spawn camper has to go quite the distance to get even partial health. Unless of course the whole enemy team has pushed the attackers into their spawn, but at that point the teams are usually so unbalanced that a scramble is in order.

1 PM pacific seemed to be the best time for everyone last meetup, but I can't do 1 PM on a Friday because I'll be in school. I can delay it another day or change the time but other than that I don't have much option.

Without exception, I cannot stand server mods. RTD is a prime example. For instance, let's say someone rolls the dice in their spawn 4 times. The first time they get timebomb, the second time they get freeze, the third time they get ignite but the fourth time they get toxic. As a scout with bonk or as a cloaked spy they can kill the entire enemy team without difficulty. Skill goes out the window when when all you need to do to destroy the other team is risk a death or two in your spawn. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Sticky Jumper + Ullapool Caber is the most amazing arena loadout ever. 8 sticky jump across the map and caber the closest person (they don't expect you to be right on top of them). The caber does no damage to you because the Jumper reduces explosive damage to self to 0.

famous and I expected to do the same, but Vavle nerfed it recently. It only prevents self damage when you have the SJ as your active weapon. You can even kill yourself with the stickies if you try to jump without it active.

Just bought a sticky jumper and rocket jumper. I normally don't buy weapons but they were only 50 cents each and the only way to craft them is to us tokens. Which isn't a sure thing and very item expensive. The sticky jumper is an absolute blast to use. (No pun intended) I'm terrible with it and the -100% damage resistance makes you more vulnerable than a scout. But you can surprise the hell out of people by showing up out of no where, especially at the beginning of a round.
