Banned for making Nagisa's secretive and manipulative nature public. We're all doomed now you fool!
Hey, this is Nagisa, I'm inside of your post dooming you all!
-
Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you all have a great day and a very happy new year.

jeez, take it easy, i know the vortigaunt thing is just a bonus mission, i was just joking that the creator of the Point of View mod may have had some "inspiration" due to this bonus mission of HL: Decay, thats all

Sorry, the lack of emoticons in your post meant I didn't interpret your statement as a joke. >-
I sometimes have a rather strong hatred of generalisations like 'all Americans are stupid' and so on and so forth.

-
I think this very much depends on context, so I'm going to go with both.

As you can see both sites are registered through the same hosting site. which could be a coincidence. Following this i did a little bit of research and managed to trace both of those, plus the http://orange.half-life2.com and http://orange.half-life3.com (both openly owned by valve). they all lead back to a single IP address. 208.64.202.34 which is registered to none other than the VALVE CORPORATION
The domains for half-life3.com and half-life2.com will have the same IP if you ping them because half-life3.com redirects to half-life2.com.
Also note: http://www.whois.net/whois/black-aperture.com
This 'David Hassen' is not 'Valve Corporation' who you will note own the domain half-life2.com, half-life3.com, steampowered.com, and so on.
I'm sorry, but whilst Valve may have something up and coming (apparently the dropping of HL related hints has now been authorized), that black-aperture site is certainly fake.

Point of View was one where you played as a Vortigaunt
Ripping off Half-Life: Decay's extra story? Shame on you
Huh!? I believe I played the Decay mod based on the PS2 version a while back, and from what I've read there is a bonus co-op mission where you play as two vortigaunts, but aside from that from what I can tell the similarity ends there (although I may try to find some video to double check that). I really think you should actually read or even play the mod you're talking about before making the frankly ridiculous generalisation that because you're playing as a Vortigaunt it's 'ripping off' the other game. Good grief!
EDIT: I've just watched part of a video on the Vortigaunt part of Decay, and I stand by my assertion that Point of View is completely different barring the fact that you play as a vortigaunt.

This thread does need to at least stick to a topic long enough for said topic to be derailed, surely?

There's already a thread on this I'm afraid: http://www.accursedfarms.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=2543

I remember playing some strange but not too bad single player mods for HL1 many years ago. Point of View was one where you played as a Vortigaunt, and Quantum Leap, which appeared to be a collection of 'short stories' bound together.

Damn, sounds like a truly painful experience.

Did you have any luck finding a programmer who could perhaps help with the Source engine issues?

I currently have seven unique coupons. I wonder who the unlucky people are who win games they already own...
Well, I don't think you can gift a game to someone who already owns it.
No no, I mean getting a gift of a game you already have from the achievements.

So they just lurk then strike in one go and fill the place with spam? :S

I'm going to nerd out here and say that Vulcans do actually have emotions, they just suppress them with mental barriers. If those barriers are removed they tend to get violent/very passionate.

I believe there is an awkward sequence of several episodes in Enterprise that are related to your query.

They probably got halflifethemovie.com to stop other people from grabbing it.

It can't possibly be official with HTML as badly written as on that site, even by my standards.

Because of its highly customisable nature with lua scripting and so on, I think it might be worth considering. You could always try and get in to contact with Garry and find out if the problems you have been experiencing could be avoided by using Garry's Mod. I think it might be an avenue worth exploring at least.
