I think this poll might have some interesting results.

I have to say, it doesn't look like any useful discussion will result from leaving this thread open. There's already an MLP thread, a Random thread and a General Discussion thread, so I think this one can be closed. If anyone has any issues feel free to shoot me or another staff member a PM.

This thread isn't a Mac vs PC thread. There can be another thread for that sort of debate in an appropriate section on this forum.

I don't use a Mac either, but there's bound to be at least a few people on the forum who do use one. Hopefully they'll try it out.

The DLC may well help cater to the more obsessive and insanely-good Portal-players out there. Personally I'm still waiting for Volume 3 of the soundtrack.

I don't understand what we're supposed to do with the statement.

I was doing some tests today in various servers. There's about a quarter second lag from when I click to when the gun I'm using fires. It might not seem like a big deal, but when lining up shots on moving targets as sniper, I feel like the delay is making me miss shots.

Anybody else have this problem?

I get this when I play on far-away servers, say if I play on a US-based server my ping will be around 200 and I'll have a fair bit of lag.

In some cases, items that have been re-granted to users by Steam support were assigned Vintage quality.

Note the word 'regranted', I believe it's referring to where some people's inventories spontaneously emptied and were later restored. Something like that's happened a few times, I'm sure I read about this on the Steam forums ages back. Nothing recent though that's for sure.

I am quite serious, I normally wouldn't trade them at all (as I said on Steam) because I like to hoard stuff. However I do make occasional exceptions, like with my suggested offer above.

I remember a while back when people were saying this 'extended version' was from the leaked HL2 Beta (although as said in the OP, it isn't ). It really is rather nice, the original piece of music definitely needed the extension.

Mysterious PC problems are always annoying. Particularly those that fail to give useful information to work on. Hopefully a new CPU will indeed fix the issue, and hopefully nothing else has been damaged.
