Looks like TF2 may be heading for a new update and/or the Meet The Medic video.
Birds (doves?) have been showing up in the game, flying out of some dead scouts, and sitting around in various maps. They've also infested the TF2 blog.
The three birds at the top can be clicked on loading these three images:

Random speculation time!

Interestingly, Freeman reacted in an 'awesome!' kind of way to the barnacle, yet in the first few episodes of Freeman's Mind he appeared to be quite squeamish about blood. So evidently the memory of his experience may not have entirely faded from his memory, or his subconscious at least.
Anyway, I enjoyed the episode. Looking forward to the next one with crushing pistons and surprise trip mines.

Unlike Red Alert, Total Annihilation was 3d, and had great music.

The Universe is unfair. Everyone talks behind everyone else's back, everyone shares their own opinions, has their own small plots and ideas, small social schemes and so on. Life can take unexpected turns that cannot easily be predicted by the majority of the population (or in some cases, no one at all).
The only option is to adapt to constantly changing conditions. It's the only sane option. For every selfless person there will be someone out there who will try to take advantage of them. They can help others, but they have to be aware of those who would exploit them. To not be would be unfortunate.

Hyperlinks are orange for me
Indeed, but when you click on them, note that the link becomes white in the text. It can potentially cause confusion.

I saw this review on the game, and it's pretty damning:
That review may be for a console version? He does make reference to a controller. From what I've heard if you're going to play Duke Nukem: Forever, get it for PC, as the console versions are apparently somewhat sub-par. I can't speak from experience though.
EDIT: Having reached the end of the review, it is indeed a review of one of the console versions. Not sure which.

Ross, we won't be mad at you if you choose to not put out a Freeman's Mind every week and choose to work on Civil Protection. You're the creator and the artist, you shouldn't let your "fans" tell you what to make (ironically, if you don't WANT to work on Civil Protection, I'm way out of line lol)
You took three years to make the last episode; it was worth every second. You should make what you want to make and don't let people tell you how to create.
Everyone else, post here if you agree. Or disagree, to generate discussion.
Well I don't think it was quite three years...

Clever use of Winston Churchill there, J.C..

I think The Old Republic is looking pretty intriguing...

If it wasn't deleted, then I must have just not found it. My mistake.
But you admitting that you changed the post is pretty half decent of you. Now please do the other half and apologize for making me look like an ass. As silly as my name is, I don't appreciate being made to look bad like that.

The only way you're making an ass of yourself is by making a fuss over nothing! Alyxx has no need to apologise.

Now stop this nonsense and just move along. It's plain common sense that we don't want millions of threads complaining about the same thing clogging up the Freeman's Mind section, some of them more offensive than others. All people need is a little patience. ^^

And thus a vote for England was cast.

I could have sworn I posted in this thread earlier...
Anyway, it was an enjoyable episode. His amnesia is quite entertaining.

Feed the bureaucracy machine with a minister of....bureaucracy?

Mission: Humanity easily, that game is ruthless.

Burn their house down with lemons FIRST.
If you woke up in a house being burned down with lemons.

The video is currently being processed.

I'll be sure to watch it as soon as it's up though.

I can't edit my profile anymore for some reason.
Try logging in to your account in your web browser and doing it that way?

I'm a fan of boxed copies of things, but I'm not adverse to downloading stuff either (I use both Steam and GoG for example).

For some reason the 'Log me in Automatically' box is greyed out for GTA IV. I've no idea why, I've been meaning to look in to it but haven't got around to it. I also repeatedly get the impression that GFWL in-game is not designed to be navigated with a mouse, but rather a keyboard or a controller.
With regards to the logging in thing, have you both checked whether it's up to date? If you can manually update it that might be worth trying.

A better piece of advice is to actually play the game!

Here was mine. I shared this link with some friends a few minutes ago.

I shall continue to advocate the Microsoft Intelimouse to anyone who will listen. It's great, it's comfortable, and it works (and appears for the most part to be quite indestructible).
I use the cheaper two button version.

I think you'll find there's three buttons on that mouse.

No, it was just a stationary turret. There is a rather short vehicle section though.
I was able to complete the demo on hard without dying more than a couple of times. The game seemed fairly zany in places, but overall the demo did not manage to tempt me in to pre-ordering it.

Yes indeed, people should continue discussion of the now released Episode 0 here: http://www.accursedfarms.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=1554
