was you here when Ross took off the signatures completely, then brought back the text sigs, but that in turn forced every one to re-do their sigs? this should pretty much fill you in on that. viewtopic.php?f=21&t=2203&start=100 TL;DR: they weren't modded away, they were admin'd away.
