I have a feeling there will be much dissent, but last night, me and my cousin mixed tequila and Iced tea and HOLY FUCK THAT WAS AMAZING! After two of those for him and four for me, we were happy and bubbly and proceeded to play Mariokart Wii until 5AM. I think we started crying at how pretty Rainbow Road looked, but that could just have been me. Fun times are fun!

Topically, Today's one of those days where I wish I got magically teleported to Equestria and transformed into my pony self (The one I posted two pages back).

That came off as though you were upset with me. I still have total respect for those who serve our nation (I plan on doing so myself), but I can still do something silly and superstitious as a result of the date and the cultural superstition to it. You can still be serious on a strange day and act strange on a serious day.

 

I do think it seems a little disrespectful for this particular event to think of one's self rather than to think of soldiers who have died, however the culture surrounding this event probably differs from country to country.
