Today in a nutshell:

1. Woke up and played Xbox on a 40" screen

2. Watched the new episode of MLP

3. Mom brought raisin bread home

4. Went up to the internet cafe and Walgreens and got a monster and bag of fun size twix

5. Played TF2 on my sister's laptop (Top ranked for the first time in a while)

6. Went back outside for some practice on my LAX skills

7. Now on the forums and I might play more TF2 tonight

It feel good to be back for a very short period of time

I finally got to play on PC and I have to say, my Xbox play definitely helped my PC play. I was taking down enemies everywhere (quite a few twitcha twitch head shots). I'm ready for my PC and springtime

Back there was philosophical me. Now get ready for scientific me.

We have no free will.

We are simply composed of atoms that chemically react with one another in such away that we have this illusion of consciousness. You're many differences from other people are caused by the little atomic differences in your DNA and your structure itself. The only thing I can't prove with this theory is that life has no meaning. If you constructed a mass of atoms with the same exact composition as me, It would still be a lifeless form. Though we are controlled by the many colliding atoms in our brains, we do have that special spark of life that puts everything in a different light.

But anyway, in theory, if you had the capacity to be able to recognize and identify EVERY atom in this lapse of reality, you could know everything that would ever happen through interpretation of physics and atomic electricity. You might know what would happen in 20 seconds, tomorrow's weather, the baby you will have that hasn't even been conceived, who you will marry, everything.

Does that take away life's meaning? No, it doesn't. Because we can't do that, so there's no real knowing. Life is like a movie. Already produced for us, but we've never seen it and it's playing out in front of us.

On other days, I do believe in free will and the magic of God and Life, but for now, that is how I feel, and it sure depresses the HELL out of me.

I am not brainwashable... at all. As a kid, my dad always tried to get me to be just like him. Influincing me to do what he did. Now don't get me wrong, he's a good guy, but we don't come to terms on SO many things, so I avoided that crap. I was raised Episcopalian, but when I got older, I developed my own religious ideas, so now I'm pretty much a United Methodist. In 3rd grade, we were taught like Nazi children. "This is this and you don't need to know why." I was the kid who wanted to learn (wish that was still true) and I always did what I could to find out why. The school wants us to do space stuff, and everybody does a solar system. I made a model of a Fucking BLACK HOLE and learned about black holes on a college course level. If you really want I can describe every characteristic of a black hole you want.
