Yup, I've figured it out. I'm doing it in a swing style, so I can use some of the improv I've been working on just to tie together the 3 or 4 main lines I play. It's turning out nice. If I can find a time where both parents catch night shift, I'll just record with Audacity and my really nice mic I've got on my headset rather than the shoddy Tablet mic.

I've just one favor to ask. As there will be no video to pair with my playing, I was wondering if anyone wouldn't mind drawing up / vectoring a jazzy pony-related background. I was thinking having Octavia in the background and a ponified version of me in the foreground with a sax. If anyone actually takes up this task, I won't be able to thank them enough. I'll pay you in any manner I am able and be forever grateful to you. I can't use that kind of junk

I'm in the mood to see something absolutely beautiful. I finally got the chance to look at the night sky without all the interferance of city lights last weekend. Luna gave me a few special wishes from shooting stars. It was absolutely amazing, just the sheer number of stars there were. But anyways, anything with high aesthetic value and pony-related would be nice. Too lazy to do anything myself. You should know that by now

So my dad's using my faults to his advantage. When he acts like a total ass and he knows it and I start getting irritated or mad at him, rather than continue being a beligerant asshole, he stops, does something to make me laugh, then continues. I am VERY easy to laugh, and everybody knows that once you crack a smirk, it's impossible to regain your seriousness without seeming absolutely retarded and ending up with this constipated anger smirk. So yea, he's a dick and he's getting away with it because I laugh too much. That fucker.

The main melody is the easy part, it's just memorizing all the bits and pieces in between. I think I'll just improvise it, cuz that's always easier, since I know it's in Concert D with a lot of blues scale, (B Flat is A instead and they leave out D# a little and the G# is almost entirely ignored. So yea, it's fun on the sax, and I've already got some good improv guidlines for it.
