Maybe Otto does it so well that I don't notice, but what kind of sound effects are added? From what I can tell, the only sound effects are those in the Half-Life game itself.

I wonder what goes into sound editing. I've never done it before and I don't know what's involved so I'd love to see the behind-the-scenes on that front.

First was released at 3.12.2007. Today we got 27.5.2012 and episode 41. It's about 54 months, so 1.3 of episode per month. My guess is that it's about 25 episodes to the end of HL1. Then about 100 to HL2, and let's say 50 for both of episodes (I'm not that naïve to belive that Ep3 will be out anytime soon).

 

It means we got about 175 episodes left to the end of the story and if the present trend continues, the very last episode will be out at year 2031. Nineteen years from now.

Though, by then, Half Life 2:Episode 3 and Half Life 3 will be out.

I can't help but think it might be better if there were a transparent background....but then I think that might not look as good and I get confused.

So, until I figure it out, 8/10.
