Well, remember, this is where the game gets into high action. Also remember that, once you retrieve a scientist and get him to let you outside, you're under heavy HECU fire on your way to the hydroelectric dam. I think it remains in high action throughout until you at least the cliffside.

When you're shouting in this episode, "I have a personal space zone, God dammit!" (I believe that's what you're shouting), you sound genuinely angry. That was awesome.

My sound card is being used at the moment but this should be a very fun episode to subtitle when my soundcard gets free.

I love this one. Lasers make Freeman happy. Can't wait for him to push the block under the sheet of metal to blow a hole in the wall.

Wonder what is meant by revamping the subtitles sections....

I think the requirement here is that they're posted here, possibly attached as either TXT or, if possible, a timed SRT (Sub-Rip) file using the program Subtitle Workshop. Don't know about posting it elsewhere, though.

EXT. CITY 17 - DAY

A huge SHOOTOUT between the COMBINE and REBELS. Camera pans down to two Metrocops: DAVE and MIKE

MIKE:

Dammit! We conquered you idiots twenty years ago!

More gunfire is exchanged.

MIKE:

OW! One of those bastards shot my helmet! Command! I need backup! Hello? Dammit, they killed my transmitter. Dave, you gotta call!

DAVE (cooing, squeezing bugbait, and petting an antlion):

Who's a nice little antlion? Yes, you are. Yes, you are.

MIKE:

Dammit, Dave, stop fooling with that thing and call for backup!

A man in an orange armored suit runs from an alleyway.

FREEMAN:

Dammit, stop firing!

MIKE:

What the hell? He sounds like me!

Maybe he eats some bad mushrooms at one point and begins to "trip", seeing Alyx as her Cinematic Mod form...before shaking his head vigorously or something reverting back to regular.

Dialogue bar all green!

Woops. Alien Grunt. My bad. But you get my point.

I think that was the passion of the moment. After all, he is still on the high of that gargantua attacking him.

Well, it appears he's getting his memory back quicker and quicker ("Of course! Everyone is trying to kill me! ... I must admit, I really dropped the ball forgetting everyone was trying to kill me. Usually, that's the first conclusion I come to when things go wrong."), but there might be things he'll never remember...but I think he's probably got most of his memory back by now.

I think of those pixel-wide lines like this:

"I want a gnome. Wait, are gnomes even real? {HECU attack, ad libbed response pending for type of attack} Will you stop that?! I can't concentrate when you do that!"

Scientist: "As I expected."

Gordon: "What did you say?! Man, I'll kill you."

Forcefield generators in the suit provide a bubble of breathable air in environments where ambient air (or lack thereof) is deleterious to human health.

Yeah.

And these generators are powered by the bio electrical activity in the human body. Yeah, yeah. And the beating of one's heart turns a rotor that, combined with one's body heat, helps to power the generator. Yeah, that's the ticket.

The thread in question was my thread. I am okay with it being locked and I feel no ill-will towards any moderators nor do I see it as any sort of "power-trip" or whatever.

Gordon Freeman puts the helmet on and the song from HL2's putting the suit on music plays. The screen changes from HL1 graphics to Black Mesa.

Later, while underwater, it sounds like he says "Left...LEFT!" and then turns right.

Maybe Dr. Freeman flunked flank.
