Optimism on how successful a 1984-style future could be
BTGBullseye replied to Veyrdite's topic in Civilization Problems
I fully expect either a revolution or civil war to erupt in China in the next few decades... That, or they will end up with a completely enslaved and brainwashed populace, and mostly die out. (they're already well on their way to dying out because of the 1-child policy) As for the technical side, I think you covered it pretty well. Can't work with existing technology, or any experimental/theoretical that could be mass produced inside of 50 years. -
You heard it here first people... We're all going to strict jail!

Borderlands (not to "play" though, was testing its internet capability)

An alternative to egg cartons is the ultra-cheap sleeping bags. They dampen sound surprisingly well, but they're a lot heavier, and they have a lot more thermal insulation too.

Still.

Skyrim with 107 plugins now.

But some pizza would be fine.

It's a good start, but it's not nearly as far as it really needs to go... You still have to be given the server code by the owners to be able to anything.

No, to the both of you.

I just hit 88 watts per hour!

No they aren't.

Don't interrupt me. -
I like it. Keep it.

So you say...

That's what you think.

Skyrim with 100 plugins this time.
-
That was a thing on the functional version of the previous forum layout as well.
-
FYI, I'm not losing this.
-
Skyrim, moderately modded. (currently at 99 plugins)

All that missing antimatter

Unfortunately I don't have a good still for the avatar loaded up on imgur yet, so I had to wait for the avatar size limits to change first. (it'll be back to Data shortly) -
I appreciate it. A single double sided 3.5' floppy is much better than a subcompact EEPROM. Also, I most definitely can make a 110x110 that exceeds 1.44mb, but I won't.
