I just looked at a map detailing where the festival has been held since it's founding in the 80's, I'm quite surprised to see that there hasn't yet been a host city in Britain.
Britain won't allow it, that's why.
Oh, wow, awesome, did you get to see the Pope speak?Yes I did, from the jumbotron a mile and a half away from the platform. (when there are 2+ million attendees, it's kinda hard to get close)
Also, you should visit Ross while you're there!Wrong area of the country, and no spare time. (I was with a group that had a lot of stuff planned)
It's in Poland, right?Only for a few days. Most of my time was actually spent outside of Poland.

Here's my pictures from World Youth Day. (where I've been the past couple weeks)

Enjoy!

You haven't seen me around for a while because I'm in Europe for World Youth Day.(I'm bringing pictures back so you can see where I went)

I never said carry weight, I said weapon limit.I agree about the 2 weapon limit... I think it would be much better to have a weapon harness and inventory space based carry limit.
Context... Can you recognize it?
Where in there did I mention weight?

What he said.
Lol
Nice long post there dude. (and an interesting read as well)

That is a very nice system for its age... Definitely get that 6800 for gaming, you don't need double floating point calculation accuracy and ecc memory for gaming.

For those curious:
-It's hot in my apartment (you can see me sweating in the video). For some reason it tends to be even hotter here than it is outside. It's about the mid 80s right now. I don't have air conditioning, most windows aren't even set up for units in Poland.
If I hadn't seen it for myself over the past couple days, I would be amazed... You definitely need to look into something though, as 80+ is very hard on modern consumer PC hardware.
--A fan donated an i5-2500k to me actually. I've been meaning to "sidegrade" to that anyway, though it's a massive undertaking for me to do a Windows reinstall since I have to install and configure so many programs. I seriously have a checklist of about 200 items. Once I get to that though, that has a lower thermal profile than the 8350 anyway. The 2500k also has a higher thermal limit before you start getting errors/artifacts/crashes.(despite being 'rated' lower in the specs)

I managed to do a decent test run of Mint (LMDE) and it is currently my #1 choice for "leaving Microsoft OSes altogether". Decent GUI capability, easy install, fast and functional.

I never said carry weight, I said weapon limit.
Honestly, carry weight has never been well implemented... Something I'm looking to be able to correct with my tabletop RPG.

You can quick ready any weapon from your harness, or slow ready from inventory.

100% agree with Helio.

At WYD, having to camp out overnight so have nothing to do. I'll post pics when I get back home and can get the pics off my phone.
Been staying at a bunch of different hotels, one in Prague had two seperate buildings, and you had to ride a cable car up a hill to get to building 2. The rest don't even have air conditioning. (The windows are the AC)
Talk to you guys more when I get back!

If you post pics of your PC, I can help you figure out what's wrong.
Do so in the computer hardware subforum though, not here.
Also, I 100% agree with you that there's something seriously wrong if taking the side panel off reduces the temps. (also, unless you're overclocking, you shouldn't be getting desktop CPU temps above 65c, so you might consider getting some new thermal paste on it)

Apart from being unable to truly 'finish' an MMO... I finished all possible Romulan missions/reputations/etc. in Star Trek Online just a couple days before the TOS mission rolled out.

I'm sick and tired of unskippable cutscenes, and 'press X a lot of times really fast to keep from being eaten' mechanics.
First, cutscenes... I know they're usually an integral part of the storyline, but I don't want to sit through the same hour or more of cutscenes I've already got memorized...
Now the other... It needs to die a horrible death. It's on-par with unskippable cutscenes, but it also requires interaction to make sure you're still paying attention to the unskippable cutscene. (so you can't just go get a coffee or sandwich in the meantime, you have to sit there doing effectively nothing)

Star Trek Online... Said a last goodbye until the 6th. (in other words, I started all the long-term projects I could so they'll be done when I get back)

Packing for the flight to Poland for World Youth Day... Gonna be incommunicado until at least the 6th. Have a good couple weeks everyone!

Star Trek Beyond 99.999/100 (they had to limit Chekhov's appearances for obvious reasons, and that sucked in so many ways, but all else was cool)
The Secret Life of Pets 9/10 (they picked a LOT of really good standup comedians to do the voices, and they did an excellent job IMO)
-
A free Star Trek poster... (4 copies, they're quite attractive IMO) They were giving them out if you knew to ask for one when going to the theater. (saw Star Trek Beyond, and The Secret Life of Pets)

I have yet to meet a good priest that said not to question the Catholic faith... Actually, every single one I know has said the exact opposite. Ture, some faiths don't like people looking too deep, and some people in certain faiths are still human and don't like when people question their teachings, but that doesn't mean they're all that way.

Just got a Nexus 6P for Google Project Fi. Very nice phone... I'm going to root it now.

Oh god, I missed this session altogether! Sorry Ross! Sorry, everyone! Was busy with family stuff.
Same.

For the most part, I would rather not do either. I'm in the game for the story initially, and will try to do everything possible in it under my own power. However, if the gameplay is good enough, I will replay a game several times. If it isn't, I might go through and get the things I missed, just for bragging rights. Since so few games focus on the gameplay anymore, it's rare that I get more than 2 playthroughs for any given game.
