  1. https://www.16personalities.com/profiles/574ff7c20001d I'm still INTP that is very close to an INFP...
  2. The interesting thing is, I know my IQ... I've had it tested recently, and I am currently sitting around 160. This officially classes me as 'very superior' or 'genius'. This puts me in the top 0.1% of the world's population for IQ test results. I can tell you right now, this only means that I have a MUCH harder time doing anything with people that don't either have a remarkably high intelligence, or at least understand that my statements about knowing something aren't intended as an insult. Most people refuse to accept the fact that there are people that know more than they do, and when their knowledge or logic is questioned, they become aggressive. (as if you were physically threatening their life by asking why they think X political figure is a better choice when Y candidate fits their own ideals much closer) Unfortunately, the mitigation of those attitudes only tends to be a commonality among those of the higher ranks of intelligence, but not a guarantee. (yes, even smart people can get offended when you ask them to convince you) Normal people aren't stupid, they just don't have certain mental attributes that 'smarter' people have. I know a man who just can't grasp the concept that perpetual motion is impossible, but he could make a killing as a businessman. (I am the opposite, perpetual motion never made even the slightest sense to me, even before I entered preschool, but I couldn't make a buck to save my life) Intelligence has almost never equated to success or fortunes, and usually results in ridicule and failure. (see: Nikola Tesla) I implore all on this forum to not take insult at anything I'm saying here, none of it is intended as such. I know it isn't very well communicating what I'm trying to convey, but it's late, I'm tired, I'm a tad tipsy, and I don't have the time to go back and reword at this time. Please feel free to question anything herein, just don't take offense at it when you do.
  3. And knowledge alone is a poor substitution for intuition. You imply otherwise with the wording of your statement; both are required. Wisdom comes when you have a balance of both, the knowledge and the intuition to apply it properly. The biggest problem isn't that others aren't as 'smart', the problem is that they usually refuse to even attempt to communicate on any terms other than their own. (this is particularly frustrating for me, as I rarely put any emotion into my communication, and it is almost always taken as an insult)
  4. Harmful.
  5. Procrastination.
  6. "I feel old... Is that normal?"
  7. I don't like any of you! And that's the truth! *disclaimer, truth = lie
  8. Preparing for my catechesis tonight, and going to get some food.
  9. I'm 29, and I'm not old for another year... The average age of active users on the forum is 16-17 though IIRC.
  10. Star Trek Online.
  11. Questions for you... 1. Your opinion on the current presidential candidates, bearing in mind that there has been more money spent on badmouthing Trump than has been spent on everything else by everyone else combined. 2. Your opinion on sound suppressors for firearms, the real life versions. (not the movie or game versions that are completely unrealistic) 3. What is your current audio/video hardware/software setup? 4. What is your #2 favorite game of all time, and your next to least favorite game ever? 5. Do irrelevant questions annoy you? 6. Have you seen Deadpool yet? If so, your opinion? 7. What shoes do you wear? 8. What does your desk look like? (with all the stuff you normally have on it) 9. Your opinion on the newest VR-ready GPU offerings by AMD and Nvidia. 10. Make sure Ross sees this question, but doesn't actually answer it. How many clocks can you see from where you're sitting? 11. Do you have any 'superstitions', like a lucky sock or a broken chair you just can't get rid of? 12. Have you used a Steam Controller yet? Your opinion? 13. Have you heard of Space Pirates And Zombies 2? Your opinion?
  12. Fun.
  13. Hazy. (mentally)
  14. 1. SSD 2. HDD 3. Floppy Drive 4. Tape Drive 5. Punch Cards (reverse progression of computer data non-volatile primary storage systems, for those that don't know what I was doing)
  15. Tits in hell?
  16. Hang in there dude... I have a very similar situation, but a much more understanding family. Feel free to contact me for conversations if you ever need to unwind with another IT guy. I think you mean 'veteran', not 'doctor for dogs'. (also, I agree completely)
  17. Taking a break from working on a catechesis on the many things that make prophet not want to be prophets... One of them was even told that he had to eat food cooked over human shit while non-stop lying on his left side for a year. (he was upgraded to cowpies after pleading with God)
  18. I've been good... Got a new SSD, and I think I've installed just about everything I really use on a regular basis. Everything else is already copied over for a backup, so I should be fine with wiping the old drive and installing Linux on it. (I hope, there's no going back from it) Planning on doing that tomorrow.
  19. Star Trek Online, and a little bit of 8-Bit Armies.
  20. Boring.
  21. -niwnEgXQlQ My copy is in MUCH higher quality.
  22. I don't remember, so it must be a boot.
  23. Annoying.
