I fought it long enough that it went away... OT: Installing Blender, and mentally preparing myself for learning to model without any tutorials. (I hate tutorials for these kind of things, all I want is an easy to read reference)

Pretty much. There's no way of knowing what an AI will do in the wild, so they are focussing only on the worst-case scenarios.

Star Trek Online. Season 11.5 is coming on April 12th, and fixes a LOT of the major problems this game has.

I have submitted several game to the list.

They think that AIs will become sentient, and suddenly decide that humans are a threat to its existence, and decide to exterminate us. Essentially, they're big fans of the Terminator movies, and refuse to acknowledge that AIs could become something very different.

For the most part, the Geneva Convention is only about openly declared war... So simply calling it a 'police action' is usually enough to 'legally' make those munitions usable. (Iraq was not officially classified as a war, just a 'police action')
