Actually, they are stock that you can earn simply by loaning your CPU cycles to the stock issuing organization. They are traded in the same way stock, and raw materials are on the stock exchange. Unless you think that all forms of stock are also a joke...

Don't worry about it... The US Mint has plenty more where they came from. I am feeling more and more depressed, and it's getting worse when there's less to be depressed about... I think extra depression will help, but I'm not sure.
