I want to cry for 4 days... Ughhhh... I was given a bunch of documents by my teacher to study for my English class, I don't bother taking it out of my bag, take my bag with me to my excursion thing and it gets DRENCHED. All the non re-printable documents are ruined, my journal is ruined, a library book is drenched and I'm thanking God 5000x times because I decided this morning I wouldn't take my art journal with me. And I take my art journal with me EVERYWHERE. So now I need to decide what the fuck I'm supposed to do, how I'll tell my teacher. I don't know... I'm so fucked... I'm so depressed. And it doesn't help that my bag is STILL wet and I'm just carrying around a reminder of my pain and misery until I get home.I don't know what kind of a person your teacher is, but maybe it's worth being honest about what happened. Any teacher worth their salt should be able to accept that accidents can happen to even the best students.

Thank you!

Grats on that. Took a couple of times myself to beat it.
OT: Star Trek Online. It's a lot more fun when you have someone to talk to in-game.

Nice movie. A good example of why we need to have some decent safety measures in our robotics before they get unbolted from the factory floor.

All about motion sickness related to revolving objects. Has an epilepsy warning at the beginning of the film.

I get where you're coming from. To be brutally honest I've been holding down a bunch of bile for a while now, because letting it surface won't do anything helpful. Like, I've been tempted to say some really sarcastic/passive aggressive/outright critical things on here lately, but I don't want to bring the place down with bad feelings.
And I guess that's partly due to an underlying bad mood that I've been in for a long time. And that's not a good way to deal with it.
Hey, if it's anything about me, by all means voice it... I don't get offended that easily.

Try buying a game, or try not announcing every time you torrent something.
That's no fun. Besides, I do mention it when I buy games.
OT: Feeling light headed, except for my entire body. (it's from the drugs I'm taking to mitigate some sinus problems)

Cracking removes protection to extract existing information. That's the key here.
DarkSpore's assets and some functionality are stored locally, but a major part of it was stored remotely - on EA's servers. Once they shut them down, you can no longer access that data, and therefore cracking it will not help.
You can try to restore it by replicating the server. But since we don't have all of the data, the replication is likely to be inaccurate. That process is called "server emulation", and it really needs a dedicated fan base - not only to get people with the technical know-how, but also because it needs a massive amount of data points to achieve accuracy. DarkSpore, as far as I know, didn't have it when it was still online - and is therefore gone forever (unless EA has a backup/server data somewhere).
