From what I'm hearing in the gaming dev community, DX12 isn't going to be as prevalent as Vulkan in next-gen games and programs... DX12 is way more complicated, less powerful, has more overhead, and is limited entirely to Windows 10. (Vulkan has none of those issues, and overall outperforms DX12 by around 12% last I checked) Going by this alone, I recommend to everyone not to build their gaming rig around DX12. Add in the limitation of having to run always-on OS-level spyware called "Windows 10", and you can guess what my recommendations are for OS choices. AMD doesn't actually beat Nvidia cards in any performance area, excluding price/performance ratio, (and sometimes not even then) and that one area of a totally unused API. (at least so far it's totally unused by anything except benchmarks) Also, Nvidia next-gen GPUs will have Async Compute. http://wccftech.com/nvidia-async-compute-directx-12-oxide-games/

I'm seeing an awful lot of people that are having identical issues with only an extremely narrow set of sites, all on Windows 10, all just recently got an update, all started having the problem around the same time as you. Sounds more and more like yet another W10 botched update to me.

Currently ASUS is my brand of choice... They're doing really cool stuff with mid-priced phones, but putting really cool things into them. (like the Zenfone 2 Zoom with its 3x optical zoom [not just digital like EVERY other phone out there] on a 16MP sensor, all for under $350USD) Passing on the question yet again.

I find it amusing that an Irishman can go up, steal a V1 launcher, and drive it around the Paris streets without anyone caring... Oh, and the nudity, keep that off unless you like LOTS of bouncy orbs with tiny protrusions. (the first 30 seconds of the game has a pair of them in semi-closeup bouncing around for 30 seconds, then it widens the shot enough to see there are Nazis watching them too)

I just want more games to enable a second monitor to show inventory, minimap, and objectives... None do so far as I've been able to determine.

I"ve already played through Human Revolution. I have been kinda curious about Invisible War though. Maybe I would like Invisible War for what people didn't like about it. From what I've heard one of the criticisms for Invisible War is that the levels were too small and compact. Sounds perfect to me. IMO Deus Ex's levels are way too long. My issues are largely with the lengthy level design and mechanical emptiness. These aspects are so endemic to Deus Ex's design that I might as well be playing something completely different. At it's core I do not like Deus Ex. The console-based limitations for Invisible war did limit the size of the maps, but they did manage to get quite a lot of space into them. Be prepared for a LOT of loading screens though. (usually 2-3 missions per map, then on to another map, occasionally returning for an inter-map mission)

I actually rather liked The Bureau: XCOM Declassified, and the majority of people seem to think it to be horrible. What types of hats do you wear regularly? (or if it's none, what type do you wear most often)
