  1. Yeah, it's supposed to be an MMO, but I never once saw anyone outside of the starting zone... That means it isn't a true MMO, but simply has a matchmaking and social zone, and gives a big excuse for forcing the game to connect to the internet at all times. (it really has no need for it, it could very easily use the same system that the Borderlands games use)

  2. Deus Ex: Revision mod

I think it's really, really cool. Some people seem to think it fixes things that weren't broken, but i think its WAY more atmospheric. Especially the hublevels like Hell's Kitchen and Hong Kong seem much more alive and less "game-y" or "arcade-ish". Not that Ion Storm didn't pay attention to detail in the vanilla game, but it simply features more assets and has less hardware limitations, so they went crazy with making places look like there's actually things happening there. Labs look like they're used for research instead of having a table with a token microscope and a computer. Hell's Kitchen has more than 3 buildings, etc.

Agree 100%. It doesn't necessarily fix anything, it just enhances an already great game.

OT: The Division Beta. (it's fun, but numerous bugs are problematic)

  3. The Souls games - I will never understand the hype of this series, it's so boring that I can't even watch ten minutes of it without passing out.

Bloodborne - Same as the souls games

Dragon Age - I honestly don't get it. Origins was the most generic fantasy game I've ever played and shows nothing interesting for itself and none of the characters are interesting because at this point Bioware is just using template characters for everything, the same goes for 2 and Inquisition.

  4. My take on their system is that they do it the way they do because of the way the DMCA is worded... The DMCA give a massive advantage to those serving the notices, and a massive disadvantage to everyone else. Since that is the case, Google has erred on the side of caution to reduce the likelihood of litigation, which is extremely costly for the defendant, and very cheap for the prosecution.

I don't like the current takedown policies, but I do understand why they're the way they are, (the DMCA and other copyright laws) and don't blame Google/YouTube in the slightest for doing it the way they do.

  5. The former, since I have had them before, and know exactly how to make them stop being loud and neurotic. (it's impossible to make a dog care about someone it doesn't care about though)

    Live recordings, or studio recordings?

  6. See that orang text at the bottom of the page, it says 'mark all forums as read'? Just click that and it's the same as reading them all and not responding.

I refuse to be, how come I can't not be?

  7. There are enough good ones

And it keeps coming back to this... How many is 'enough'? What is the definition of 'good' in this context?

Not everyone likes all games in the same genre, even if done well. (many I know love Starcraft, but hate Command & Conquer, and vice versa) Enough is relative, and what is enough for you, might not be for others. What is 'good' to you, might be crap to others.

  8. Drama/teen angst/horror.

Drama. It's an incredibly boring movie/TV genre IMO. It does the opposite of hold my attention.

Teen angst. Believe it or not, this is actually a book genre, though it may not be labeled as such in the book stores. There is absolutely no reason for its existence.

Horror. As a game genre, it results in playing as a helpless person running for unkillable supernatural beings, and nothing is ever really new in that genre. (Dead Space and Doom are notable exceptions)

    Have you ever been 'high'?
