  1. I don't recall exactly what it's called, but it's like the spawning tool from Gmod, but not only spawns stuff, but edits them, and people. It was in a mod I saw a long time ago. Basically godlike powers in a handy little weapon. (it shot unlimited 9mm bullets that were perfect accuracy and instakill, and penetrated as deep as you set them to)

Do you think we'll see neural interface (direct interface between computers and the human brain) augmentations in our lifetimes?

  2. Starting to build the remake of Jeb's avatar. Coming along nicely from the looks of it... Head and snake fully visible in this cropping. Now to remove repeated frames, and compensate with longer duration frame times on the now single frames. (animations should remain as smooth as in the video, or close to it)

  3. And since I absolutely hate Gif's shit quality and FPS, I uploaded a way more detailed version in the form of an mp4 file.

If you'd like me to take a crack at getting a smoother and better quality GIF for you, I can... (GIFs aren't really poor quality unless you use the generic settings that most free tools provide for reduced file size, and framerates on GIFs are adjustable to as high as waytoofast)

  4. I have an issue with itchy skin. All day, every day, random parts of my body itch. Sometimes, it feels like someone is sticking me with a pin randomly. I'm sitting there, trying to work on something, and suddenly, someone jabs me with a pin my shoulder. I have to itch it to make the feeling go away, then less than five minutes later, another pin jab in the back of my left leg. Then again later in the small of my back. The underside of my foot. The back of my head. My stomach.

It's been going like this for YEARS and it's driving me up the walls! If I knew what was causing it, that'd be something...

Sounds like a nerve issue... Could even be a vitamin deficiency.

  5. well i know i hear people say Avatar: the last airbender and the legend of korra can be classified as both but they say its influenced by anime when its a western cartoon, same with teen titans but i feel like they should be in the category of both but its hard to really say i they belong or not

I know I personally wouldn't place them as anime.

  6. Ah... Good to know.

Also, all of my 2 characters are NC, named BTGbullseye, and are on each of the two US servers. (the East Server one is currently BR 18, the West is 13)

Just a tip for anyone starting out and wanting to complete the Basic Training stuff, go do it in the VR Training map... (that is, if you aren't already told that when you start) You get all the benefits of the achievements with none of the drawbacks. (like repeatedly dying because you don't have Certs to upgrade your weapons and items)

[EDIT] Corrected to update my BR.

  7. The lack of a GECK is making me increasingly frustrated.

That's really disappointing. I think Fallout 3 and FNV owed a great deal of its continuing popularity to the modding community supporting it. You would think Bethesda would want to make things easier for that fanbase.

They are going to release it, it just hasn't happened yet because they're trying to make it stable for more than just themselves.

Even though the GECK isn't out yet, there are thousands of mods for the game, some are very extensive, some are the extensive NSFW mods from previous Bethesda games.

  8. And this is another problem with VR: they are seriously power hungry, Oculus HTC Vive or TrinusVR app.

So eve if someone gonna spend that 500-800$ for Oculus, Vive or Morpheus they would probably spend another 500-800 for new hardware(consoles are different story tho).

Because most of people that used DK2 or other goggles are tech guys that know "something" about it, and they try to have a bit more power in their PC than typical users.

You should consider that in the 80's and early 90's people were spending $2k-$10k just for a basic computer... Adjust for inflation, and you'll see that prices are so low now that people wonder how anyone could pay half a year's salary (average was actually 1/4-1/2 a year) just to be able to make a word document. Now consider a VR setup only costing a couple months for all the hardware required, and you can see how this isn't that expensive.

  9. What would Fallout in Antarctica be like? I'd guess kind of a "winter survival" theme. Wolves don't live in Antarctica(I think) so you'd probably get a mix of super behemoth polar bears and penguin-people.

The only non-aquatic animals that naturally live in Antarctica are birds and Seals... I don't think there's too much as can be done with that.

  10. And yet you blow up my Sunderer with a tank while you're playing TR, traitor!

I almost got you back, had air support and everything, but you ran before I could refill my ammo.:mrgreen:

When was this? I have not been getting on anything other than my NC account for quite awhile, also I rarely, if ever pilot tanks. I prefer aircraft and sunderer's myself.

Last night, someone named "Mathadar" blew up my Sunderer on Amerish as I was helping push one of the two easternmost southern routes. Whoever it was was using a Prowler with (I think) default weapons. Looked like it had a racer chassis from its turn rate and maximum speed.

  11. The weapons have almost identical performance for self defense situations, though the manual safety system on the M9 is probably better for a civilian operator. (they are less likely to accidentally set off the weapon than they would be using a Glock's trigger safety, which is its ONLY safety feature)

That said, any store that sells one should also be selling the other. Try each one out, and see which fits you better, as that will be 99.999999999% of the difference between the weapons.
