I personally think they should have an option of which breed of dog for companion... Different breeds with different effects. (like a Rottweiler having a slightly better attack, or an Australian Shepherd giving a charisma boost, etc.)

I know I exaggerate a bit, but I do see things quite differently than most people due to people I know that have worked/do work with classified information on a daily basis, and share that info with me. Unfortunately I can't share their names, (or even specific details about the info I get) as that would result in serious negative repercussions for them. (this tends to make certain people on this forum foam at the mouth when I voice my views)

It would depend on the specs of that $1500 laptop. Many manufacturers don't put $1500 worth of hardware in their $1500 laptops. If it was actually worth that, and not just priced that, and there was a guarantee that I wouldn't spend more than my monthly budget of $5, then yes I'd get it...

Kinda hard to do when I'm getting swamped with so many things I can't even apply for a job, and unwind in any way on the same day.
