  1. Every person that has done military service (that Ive talked to) says that its one of the best things they ever did. Its really too bad its not mandatory anymore... Alot of people got their lives turned around after the basic training.

So, encourage young people to do it - yes. Conscription? No.

General statistics usually don't cover the types of people that would willingly join this particular online community. (just look at the parsonality type thread, and you'll see why)

  2. Feeling tired, yet comfortable... Just got my first shower in a week that didn't involve barely trickling water, and had good food. Now I'm heading to a bed that isn't stuck at 85° with no airflow. (72°-74° and a ceiling fan makes for a beautiful bedtime experience)

  3. Well, take solace in that I'm borderline, and vary from day to day between INFP and INTP. (it's actually a good sign that I can balance feeling and thinking)

You should've seen my Dad's results... No more than 3% either direction for everything. (I kinda think he just isn't capable of answering accurately)

  4. but we'd need to change themes, as this one hasn't been updated in /ages/.

Problem is, people grow attached to interfaces over time... Changing the design in any way could result in applause, or derision. Yet maintaining the layout could be next to impossible with the new phpbb...

  5. Since I don't have a passport yet, I wouldn't know... Probly, as my town didn't have a maternity ward when I was born. (technically born in a neighboring town, but never raised there)

What would you say/ask if you had 5 totally private minutes to talk to the Pope?

  6. Eyesight can be corrected, and isn't as important for heli pilots as it is for fighter pilots. If you can, I'd say try it out... Military service is usually the highlight of people's lives, and has been know to generate lasting marriages.

Can't tell if sarcastic or overly optimistic.

Informed. I was well on my way to being a fighter pilot when medical issues arose from my heatstroke when I was 13. (I had trouble getting under the weight limit, and getting a decent mile run time)

  7. Felling remarkably good for ending a day partialy coated in dirt kicked up by inconsiderate people, and spending 5 hours in line waiting to get through the worst thought out security I've ever heard of.

The Pope managed to change his schedule several times, and I kinda think he was doing it partially to piss of security for being way more than he wanted. (can you believe they actually wanted to completely wall him in for his appearances in Philly?)
