I refuse to even consider a normal call center. The only people that do well, and don't end up with crippling levels of stress, are those that would be at home trying to sell you a used 2002 Hyundai with 110k miles and no airbag for $8K. Non-standard call centers are like where I worked last year... Receive calls for modem troubleshooting, and that's it. Quite fun when it comes right down to it.

Despite the ease of maintenance of a shorter haircut, I still feel better with longer hair... Don't know why. Logic doesn't seem to help.

Playing the daily stuff in Galaxy Legend, and getting ready to test Pillars of Eternity.

Very interesting... It's the cold war all over again.

I still list it as the absolute peak of the C&C series. (and that's not an insult at all)

Government jobs have the benefit of extreme levels of job security... Unfortunately, that also means that unless they are expanding their workforce, or someone retires/dies, there aren't any jobs available.

Pirated Act of Aggression, just to test... Will buy when I have the money. Pirating Pillars of Eternity... If it feels like a good game for me, I'll buy it when I can.

You are overqualified if you know how to use Google, Youtube, and can follow instructions. The biggest problem is actually finding a job in that field.

Not good. Can't stand my mother right now. If I don't post on here again in the next couple days, that means I have left my home, and am out wandering; looking for a decent place to set up camp for a few months.

Look up 'Robert Euvino' (did the music for the Stronghold series) and 'Timothy Steven Clarke'. (Tribes 2) OT: Off topic.

Have to agree with that. Permadeath should be firmly in the realm of "optional".

Act of Aggression. Yup, it's the next in the line of the C&C Generals games.
-
Act of Aggression. Feels a lot like a spiritual successor to C&C Generals... With a little bit of Supreme Commander thrown in for good measure.

I always did wonder why I couldn't rebind keys in-game in Unity... Now I know. I feel for you.

Relaxing before having to drive my niece up to my sister's house in the Springs.

Just had eggs and hashbrowns.

I have no idea.

Nonexistent. (at least not anymore)

Spock is now captain, eating relatively obscure knockoff gorn microchips, buying unbleached wigs.

Don't apologize, unless you're the cause of us not being hired... And I seriously doubt you have enough global clout to do so, and even more doubt that you would have the inclination to do so.

Jobs. (take it as a noun or noun, I don't care)

I've had the application machine going for a year now... I have gotten called back a whopping 2 times for over 200 applications. 1 of them said I was overqualified for a computer repair position, and they didn't want me to embarrass the owner who had been repairing computers professionally for 15 years. The other ended up with me showing up for the interview, then finding out they had already filled the position a week earlier. (they only told me that AFTER the interview, and they had called me early that morning sounding like it was urgent that I get in for the interview ASAP) In short, I don't like interviews, applications, or even modern jobs.
