I was spanked as a child... I deserved every one of my spankings. I will spank my children if they act as I did. The reason that most people consider it abuse is usually because of a few media stories, (like 'parents' that abuse because they didn't want a child, or because they enjoy having total power over someone else) or relatively rare experiences that were abusive levels of physical reprimand. (which it sounds is borderline for you Jeb) This ends up being a problem for those that know how to use spanking in a manner that isn't abusive, as many people today think of it as abuse any time a parent touches a child in any way as a form of discipline. Most children respond faster and more permanently to a light swat on their rear, than they ever will to a time out. Abuse is when you get out of the realm of discipline, and into the realm of injury. Discipline is fine, black and blue isn't. I see someone slap their kid on the back side in Walmart because s/he won't stop screaming and crying, and I'm fine with it. I see them doing it for little nothings, and doing it hard, I call CPS.

Ross... You are not alone. I have troubles with the artificial 3D stuff because my brain has adjusted to using one eye at a time for just about everything. I get definition from my left eye, and depth perception from how blurry my right eye sees it. (the blurrier it is, the further away) Now, this gives me incredible depth perception and visual measuring capabilities for real world applications, but totally trashes almost all 3D I've tried. The best 3D I've ever experienced was the Star Fox on a VirtualBoy, (I was one of those few that didn't get a headache or any ill effects from it) and I have to say that it was awesome to me. +1

I am currently trying to figure out why my Fallout NV mod is showing no projectile, instant-hitting the target, and giving about 20 explosions instead of 1... It's a mod trying to make a rocket launching pistol, I'll balance the damage after I figure out WTF is going on.

+1 (unfortunate this is) Usually caused by some hardware component in the charger itself burning up. If it has the typical 'power brick', it probly overheated and blew a capacitor. (most people don't realize that the power brick needs some form of cooling as well) Usually replacing with a cheap replacement, and putting the 'power brick' part directly on the table you have your laptop on will permanently correct the issue. I actually recommend the cheap replacements over the 'official' replacements because the cheap one usually have a newer, more efficient design, and will usually be around a quarter of the official price. Nope, and don't plan to. Absurd internet censorship puts me off. (and so does the move towards being more like the V for Vendetta government) Why does the government think they have a better education system than homeschooling, even though it's been proved repeatedly that homeschoolers are better educated on all levels?
