I love how this thread used to be so mixed up. All sorts of different users, different topics. Then Vappy and I practically take it over. XD All doing the same stuff, editing MIDI's, creating more music. We are King and Queen of this thread now. >
Mwahaha! We rule the land. BTG, you're my personal butler. AP, you're Vappy's butler. X3 And Binky can be the entertainer that wears a silly hat.My kingdom is now sorted.
Well, I would have a nice little electronic song similar to Tubular Bells, but I haven't gotten around to installing the software required to compose it. (I highly recommend giving a listen to Tubular Bells at FLAC quality at least once if you're planning on making music)
As for butler, I'm cool with that, as long as you don't mind me wearing a Larry the Cable Guy style tux.

...does hugging pillows help? >W< I'm so lonely. I have pillows reserved for people that I want to hug, but I can't. This obviously includes my boyfriend. Also, since my parents have been away for like... 5 days now, this is the most I've been without any physical contact. I think... I had a hand shake a few days ago. XD That's about it. I have my dog, but that's way different. I wish I could invite you all to my place. X3 We'll have a big party. We'll play a game where you have to guess the right card. And if you get it right, you get a hug from me. If you get it wrong, you still get a hug anyway. XDAs long as we get to play Rail Baron afterwards.

I just hope that would work.I would like to see mandatory firearm training for grade school children. If they know how to properly use a gun, there will be far fewer accidents. This does not mean they would be given a gun, just be trained in their safety. It has in small communities across the midwest... I grew up in one of them.
That is a good point. People can make weapons out of everything. I think my main point was that I'm not saying ban guns, but instead get people to not use guns as the solution to arguments and tussles. But there will always be a percentage of the population who will do that no matter what you do.The big issue isn't that people have guns, but that people exist. And that last part is what gun control enthusiasts are trying to prevent, albeit without care for harming those who would never use a firearm to harm someone, except in unavoidable circumstances.

Brand and model of laptop? I HIGHLY recommend taking it apart, and replacing the thermal paste/grease/pad that came stock with your laptop; use Prolimatech PK-1 or PK-3 for best cooling performance. If you're going to a store, don't believe them if they say that some other paste is 'the best' if it isn't the PK-3. (they're either trying to sell you some junk they haven't been able to sell, or they don't know anything about thermal paste and cooling systems) If you need assistance with any of this, I can help.
In general, depending on the overclocking settings, you can get around 10-15% extra performance from a proper OC. If you don't need this, you should probly turn it off. (if running a game at 40-45 FPS, it'll probly drop to around 30 with the OC disabled) If you really want to get a good OC, you need to look at the settings available for the OC, and change them to find the perfect balance of power and cooling. I know that on one of my laptops I could do a 10% boost without altering fan speeds if I tuned it right, and it would stay well below the warning threshold.
Higher fan speeds don't really affect the fan lifetime. You do however want everything to run as cool as possible if you want the system to last longer. 5°c lower than it's warning temperature can usually prolong the lifetime of the hardware by a year more than running at the warning temp. 10°c under, and it will likely outlast all the rest of the hardware in your system.
If you need anything more specific or general than this, just ask.

If I could see the code, I probably could do something about it, heck, it would be a great way to test out my skills.
Same here.
I don't think it's the code. If it was, profile changing NEVER would have worked. (Unless the code has recently been changed).I assume it's the server's problems. They like to malfunction sometimes and do all weird and crazy snot.
It's actually looking like it might be a busted script that's causing this. What do you mean by 'profile changing'? Do you mean like logging in/out? (that would be an entirely different set of code)

Not too sure either way, but I hope so too.

Considering that I can't learn in any public school setting, I'd say anywhere that has the option of unrestricted homeschooling has the best. As for the general populace, currently South Korea tops the charts, but I think that's mainly because of the culture there. No clue really, as each country needs a different approach that is tailored to their culture.
Right now the USA culture is that the people in charge (ie, the president, the government, your boss, the teachers, etc.) know more than everyone else; anyone who claims to be an expert, is; science can explain everything right now, and anything it can't is either a hoax or someone not looking at it like a scientist/logically; that the government should be allowed to regulate every aspect of our lives, because they know better than we do what is best for us; despite every politician lying constantly, we should believe them when they say they aren't destroying the country when they do things that violate the US constitution; that because it passed the House and Senate, a bill can't possibly violate the US constitution; and that we are the most powerful, most free, and best country in the world. Right now, there is no school system that I can think of that will work well, at least until a few of these idiotic culturally instilled ideas are removed.
Sorry, got into a bit of a rant about US culture, but it is applicable.

You can't use Paraniod the song in this thread, Pastor. You're just being Paranoid.

I know a few gun fans on here, so I will open this question as an aside for them.If you had to swap two body parts around?
My eyes.

Result, my right eye in left socket, and vice versa. My right eye is slightly better for close range vision, (20/25) and my left is better for range. (20/15) I've already trained my brain to interpret the images separately, which prevents me from successfully using anaglyph and most other 3D technologies. (shutter frames don't work very well unless it's a 120Hz feed to each eye, [extremely expensive to get] but polarized seems to work decently)

Sounds good. I'll also take the role of Sheriff, with the mods as my deputies.

dc Talk - Jesus Freak album, excluding the second track (Colored People) because it somehow got completely destroyed. (there's a completely clear streak on a section of the disk, and it is only on track 2 exclusively but also completely covering it)

What the fudge, mate. I didn't even realize that was a voice. I thought it was just the feedback of a microphone at first. XD You're really good! I've got a deep voice. But a really small range. When I scream, it's more of a really manly; "WAGHH" Take Ross's scream. That's pretty much my scream. I got hit in the side by a dodgeball once at school. I screamed, a really manly scream, and the whole damn class just sorta looks at me confused. Like; "Was that you!?"
ROFL!

I can scream, but it's not really as powerful as my standard yelling. (I project enough that I have been able to be understood clearly at over a mile on a quiet & calm day)

That's OK, I just linked the thread to every admin for the site, (subject: Major forum bugs.) so I should hear something by the end of the week.
-
No, it's nothing here. In fact, I don't know what it is. It's the kinda day where simply stepping outside to do anything gave me so many bad vibes I was hurrying to get back inside.
I get days like this sometimes and I never know what the cause of them is. I suspect there is no actual cause.
There's always a cause... It's better to listen to those vibes when they're that strong than it is to try and ignore them. Usually you avoid major problems when you do.
OT: Feeling stressed for no apparent reason.

I'll link the forum improvements thread to the admins, just in case they forgot about it again.
