Yeah, they have the choice of joining, or paying a fee in their taxes... What a choice.
What?
What? You didn't know that even if you don't want any health insurance at all, you still have to pay hundreds extra in taxes so you're still covered by Obamacare?

They really need to expand the inventory limit... Also have equippable armor/weapons, a couple more trinket slots, and a variable number of heroes in each quest. (like if you wanted to run 2-3 level 3 heroes on a level 1 mission) They also need to make it less obvious that the combat favors the enemy the more often you win. (send in a 4 pack of maxed out level 2s into a level 1 boss mission, slaughter everything but the boss in the dungeon, go into the boss with full health, and the boss kills all 4 in 6 turns with conventional attacks that crit 75% of the time) They need to finish building the other two map locations, and put something at that statue thing in the center of town. They also need to make a description for what each of the afflictions do. (like irrational making them refuse healing sometimes, or attack on their own, or move positions in the group, etc.)
Apart from those, and the slightly unwieldy UI, it is a remarkably addictive game. (I do also like the fact that it has very nice smooth transitions all over the place)

Is there ever a case where a mother has had to abort their baby because of a safety concern regarding the mother? Cause I dunno.
There are the rare few who are actually allergic to the pregnancy hormones... That would be a good case for an abortion, as neither the mother or the child would survive.
Also regarding what Fetuses can do, do they have the capacity to remember things? Sure they can move, but do they have the mental needs to be able to think and remember?I know of a few people that can remember being in the womb, and there are lots of stories of people with similar memories. I personally don't remember it. (earliest memories for me were when I was just about to turn 2)

You must have forgot that Obamacare is a choice. If 2/3rds of the people eligible aren't signing up, that means that they either don't feel the need or the want to use it. People do have different options.
Yeah, they have the choice of joining, or paying a fee in their taxes... What a choice. From a mini-poll that occurred at my county social services office by the workers there, 100% of the people that don't sign up for Obamacare in this county are not wanting the government to have that much control over their lives. (that's the words of the people that aren't signing up, not the employees)
Many people don't want to be forced to pay for health insurance. They would rather pay IF they have medical bills, not pay for other's medical bills and for care they don't need. (and I'm one of them)

There are many aspects of why I believe that any fetus is a person, only one of which is religious. I will not include the religious reason.
1. As soon as the first cell division occurs, that is the indicator that barring outside influence or illness, there will be another human in a couple months.
2. Killing a human before it's fully developed is still ending a human life.
3. Fetuses are fully capable of thought and memory by the age of 8 weeks. (around the same time their sense of touch develops)
4. Fetuses begin 'breathing' at 9 weeks. (it isn't actual breathing, there is no air in there)
5. Fetuses are moving their eyes at 14 weeks, and have complex eye movements at 24 weeks.
6. Fetuses are moving on their own, without external stimuli, at 16 weeks.
7. Fetuses are able to feel pain at 17 weeks.
8. Fetuses are able to recognize sounds at 20 weeks.
9. Fetuses are sucking their thumbs at 20 weeks. (this is also when you first get a glimpse of whether they will be a righty or lefty)
10. I have personally seen fetuses that were removed for incubation at 8 weeks (for medical reasons) respond to external stimuli intelligently as they were being removed.
11. There are a LOT of people in the US that want to adopt, and they're going overseas just to find them, because there aren't enough available in the US. Adoption is a much better option than murder IMO.
There is only one reason I have been able to find that it would be appropriate to perform an abortion... That is if it would cause the death of the mother and/or child to do anything else.

Exactly. When I lived in arizona, I saw a few of them take off flying backwards... Landed that way too. Mind boggling if you aren't well versed in physics, but still an amazing sight to watch some idiot nearly take off just trying to taxi to the runway. lol
Faster and more maneuverable carriers = much easier aircraft launches.

On the reduction of population - here I disagree very strongly. Our as yet unsolved problem is actually the lack of people in the developed world. As countries advance and their per-capita energy consumption approaches that of the developed world people stop having enough children. All the population growth in Europe is now due to the increase in life span and immigration from outside.
If that trend continues, then when the entire planet reached the level of the First World our global population number will be declining. This is not a good prospect...
If it does this normally, without government regulation, then this is actually not a bad thing. If it's because of government regulation, (like in China) it is a bad thing.
We're at 7.227 billion people on the planet, and that number is rising by ~1.5 every second... http://www.census.gov/popclock/ If it continues the way it has been, we'll be at 8 billion by the end of the decade. (7.25 by the end of either this or next year)

One thing to consider here is also this: The developed world takes the most resources by far. So one thing that is a possibility is to either reduce population growth or like certain countries in Japan and Italy, have a negative growth rate. But before I'd want to get into taking away luxuries, I'd much rather stop the huge amount of waste this country has. Or at least find a way to convince people to stop using cars so much. Encourage good, resource efficient behavior rather than force it.
You'd have to find a really strong encouragement, like free electric cars or something... You won't get many people to switch with anything less.

So you're saying that providing actual numbers that show that around 30% of people that should be on this program actually are, is nitpicking?
Definition of nitpicking: looking for small or unimportant errors or faults, especially in order to criticize unnecessarily.
I honestly think there is something wrong with the program when over 2/3 of the eligible people aren't even signing up for it.

Gonna torrent it to try... Sounds extremely interesting though. (especially if there are a variety of weapons/armor and characters to choose from)
