  1. Agreed. OT: Being hungry, slightly tired, and bored. I want to watch good movies, or play a non-boring game, but I can't. (right now, every game is boring to me)
  2. Why do games always drop the damage of weapons whenever you put a suppressor on them? It doesn't do that for actual guns... Only subsonic ammo causes that. (and military units don't use subsonics because they have a nasty habit of not killing people unless the barrel is pressed against the base of their skull)
  3. Sorry, I don't think I can help you.
  4. The least they can do is hire someone who knows the basics of propaganda, there are plenty of them around.
  5. True, which is why we need a program that actually teaches kids about firearms, and the safety rules concerning them at a young age. (I know I'll be starting any of my kids learning the rules at age 4, and firing an actual gun as soon as they are ready) The problem with this is that it really doesn't matter how many legal restrictions occur with guns, as criminals don't follow them. There is a huge black market for firearms in the USA, and they don't care if you intend to commit a crime with them or not. Most criminals know how to get firearms from these black market sources, and it's remarkably rare for them to get a firearm through legal means. (put as many laws in place as you want, the number of criminals that use guns will not significantly drop in this country) It does appear that way, but at least you are willing to try to discuss it civilly with us.
  6. You seem to have a completely different opinion on who has to provide evidence when I say that exact thing (although I do so with a lot less hostility) to others... (as does ThePest179) You should learn to discuss different opinions civilly instead of arguing violently against anything you don't like. And I could say the same to you. Although, I would much rather you didn't as you are only arguing in a violent manner when a civil debate will do quite nicely. (though I am doubtful you are capable of such a feat at this point) And why are you so against analysis of information to extrapolate that which isn't said? (the 'begging the question crap' as you put it) It's not something new, as it's been going on for centuries, and in recent decades has been refined well enough to accurately determine everything from political affiliation, to alcoholism, to pregnancy, to sexual orientation, to your favorite foods, or even the clothing you wear, all using nothing but location metadata from an individual's phone. (the NSA is doing it right now) How about the freedom to not have everything I say in a phone call or e-mail monitored... (that was ruled as covered under the 4th Amendment, and is being violated thoroughly by the NSA right now) Or have my metadata collected so that someone can know more about my life and preferences than I decide to make public. http://www.law.cornell.edu/constitution/fourth_amendment and http://www.law.cornell.edu/constitution/amendmentxiv (section 1) and https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2015/01/effs-game-plan-ending-global-mass-surveillance Freedom of religion is suppressed in almost every school (including government-run public schools) and college campus in the USA. (and you frequently can get harassed if you aren't a democrat that is pro-abortion, pro-homosexual, and anti-gun) http://www.law.cornell.edu/constitution/first_amendment Those are two that have directly affected me in recent years, but that doesn't mean that I don't care about the MANY other violations that have taken place. They don't have to affect me directly right now for it to be wrong, and make me want to stop it. (and there are many who feel the same way) My financial situation is not relevant to this discussion. Also, simply being unemployed isn't enough to qualify for unemployment. (contrary to what many seem to believe) You first have employment duration and wage limits that you have to meet, and then you have to lose your job through no fault of your own. (like a layoff) Most companies have devised ways of avoiding these qualifications, including falsifying performance records. (just look at IBM for innovative ways to cut 30+ year employees out of their pensions and unemployment benefits) In addition, it only lasts for a few weeks, during which there are stringent rules to keeping those benefits concerning how you go about searching for a new job. On the contrary, the money is paid by the company you were fired from. It passes through the government, yes, but it originates at the company. (hence why companies would rather fire you without reason before 90 days, or after 90 days with a crappy performance review) This is a unique feature of the US version of unemployment benefits. (it doesn't work this way anywhere else that I can tell) If the government wasn't trying to tax the hell out of domestic companies, and giving massive tax breaks to companies that use H1B employees in our high paying fields, (tens of thousands of jobs that would be over 50k/yr for domestic workers are under 20k/yr for H1B employees who don't pay taxes or contribute to the US economy beyond the food they buy) most of the 46.5m people on foodstamps could actually work a full-time job at a decent wage... Hows that for a fix for 2 problems. (unemployment, and subsistence on the government just to survive) I most certainly would be for change that would allow me to get work in a field that I have knowledge in, besides burger flipping. (over 8 years of IT work in a private setting for numerous small businesses and individuals, as well as extensive private computer related experience going back over 20 years, plus a year of welding in college)
  7. You're saying that because the media is saying that it's the biggest issue in modern history, that it must be true?
  8. I didn't just quote another post for no apparent reason, Pastor. You're just being paranoid.
  9. Yes please? (so long as the song is done well, preferably in some form of cross-genre) Headset or headphones + microphone?

  11. Headache. (not literally, at least not until the last half-hour)
  12. Banned for hating on meta.
  13. Now look who's maintaining the off-topic stuff... It ain't me is it. OT: Quite pretty even for a work uniform. (and yes, I did see all those things in your pic) What phone is that?
  14. +1
  15. UxiL1sl1mAU Now that's an orange creamsicle!

  17. You can always post a link to it's location in a spoiler tag with a disclaimer.
  18. So you think removing the freedoms of everyone in the entire country only affects the minorities? (that is what is actually going to cause war if it ever happens) Racism is an extremely minor issue anymore, it just gets blown way out of proportion by the media. ("there are very few locations in the USA that have any significant form discrimination, and more often than not it is the minorities that are being intolerant of straight white people" - a quote from 5 different black guys, 3 homosexuals, and dozens of hispanics I've known over the last few years)
  19. Indeed. That doesn't mean that they're infallible though, just because they're 'peer-reviewed', and haven't been challenged for a few years. (that is what ThePest179 has been implying consistently throughout all topics)
  20. That is not what an "accident" is. That is called collateral. Not even close to the same thing. More guns at one shootout doesn't really change the statistics for the shootouts, however the location of the shootout does significantly. (also, 4-7 total incidents is less than lightning strike kills per year) As for true 'accidents' increasing proportionally to the number of guns in an area, I would like to see the statistics you find on that. (that means the gun discharged and injured someone, and the gun was either unintentionally fired, or was never intended to injure a person) Concerning no-knock raids... They deserve every shot fired at them if they go to a non-criminal's house. (not saying that they should stop doing them, no-knocks are intended to keep the cops from being shot through the door because they are waiting to serve a warrant to a suspected "armed & dangerous") Who the hell would believe that someone that just broke into your house in a violent manner with no forewarning wasn't there to intend you serious harm? (or for that matter, believe them just because they yell at you that they're police) Why would you use no-knock raids as an argument concerning 'accidents' anyways? (unless the cops go to the wrong house, there is no 'accident' involved) And finally, do you really think size and color changes of the text, or writing [what I can only assume to be] a mocking line of very poorly written gibberish, makes you look smarter? Just an FYI, it doesn't.
  21. Star Trek Online.
  22. Nice little preamp... What do you use currently for an analog-to-digital converter? Might want to check and see if CorridorDigital can give some pointers.
  23. Pixel Piracy. That would be interesting, and he could do a good pirate voice for it too if he wants. lol
  24. You can always use mine, but it only goes up to episode 54. (I will be making an up-to-date on with all the episodes, as soon as Ross uploads them)
  25. That's been going on for decades... I'm surprised it isn't common knowledge yet.
